Lifting weights without movement (oxymoron?)
This is a great compliment to your workout gym. It does what it is designed to do: clamp down on a 2" olympic bar like an alligator on its prey. I do several different types of olympic lifts and occasionally also do CrossFit in my garage. For Olympic lifts, despite me dropping the weights (from overhead) at times, these locking clamps hold the weights from sliding. For CrossFit, after several rounds of a high-repetition set, occasionally there is a little give (less than an inch), but that is normal with these type of clamps. Especially when you consider the abuse it goes through. They are also easy to remove when you want to throw on another set of plates. Best yet, they are a fraction of the price of the typical clamps. In fact, these are cheaper than even your name brand spring clips! I have used them over over 2 months on a daily basis and can tell you that they are durable and can take a beating.I can attest that these clamps work well and without hesitation can recommend them for your lifts! They will be there for your bad days and your PR days.

Great product and great customer service!
Two reasons why you should buy these from clout fitness. First, it is a good product. I just moved and bought the equipment for a home gym. I needed some quick release collars for my dumbbell handles. Found these and read good reviews. They have met and exceeded my expectations. The collars are just as good as popular name brand collars, at a much better price point. I have done dumbbell rows, curls, shoulder presses, flys; and all without a single issue. No slippage at all. But they also are easy to take off and put on. But that's not all...Second reason you should order from Clout Fitness? Excellent customer service. I had a problem with my order (turns out it was from another seller) and Clout Fitness worked quickly to help me fix my problem. They even sent me another pair of collars to help make sure this customer was happy. Quick response and a customer centered philosophy make this a great brand to buy. Do yourself a favor and buy from Clout Fitness.

Quick-Release Locking 2" Olympic Barbell Clamp [1-Pair]
This pair of Clout Fitness quick-release Olympic clamps seems decently made and has been working very well for me. The clamp bodies are made from thick ABS plastic and held together with four metal screws. The locking lever and release button are also made from ABS. There is a 1/8" metal pin used where the two halves of the clamp join when cinched together. The two large internal rubber pads are what grip and hold the clamps to the Olympic collars on the barbell or dumbbell. The four metal screws that hold the clamps body together also secure the rubber pads in place. I really like these quick-release clamps and prefer them to the spring clamps and locking training collars I used for years. They not only fit perfectly on the regular 50mm [2"] diameter ends on my barbell and tricep bar but, surprisingly also fit securely on the slightly undersized 49mm collars on my old 1990's era EZ-curl bar that I've always had problems with the spring clamps slipping during use. So far I haven’t had any issues with the Clout Fitness clamps slipping or coming loose on any of my bars. I liked them so much that I bought three pairs to use with my other bars. Each pair of clamps even came with its own nylon draw-string pouch to carry or store them in.

Compact and sturdy
I was looking for a set of locks for my weight set. The set had came with some sturdy spring clamps which, while functional, were overly long in the release arms. Any weight I put on the dumbells would always need to be frequently adjusted because the arms would jab me through the motion of any exercise. So, I got these Clout Fitness locks. Honestly, they have better grip on the bar, allow for less motion in the plates... And above all, they're very compact and easy to use. So, no more being jabbed in the side by a release arm! They do take up more space on the dumbells than the spring locks I had, but do I really need one more plate on the bar when even with these they can already fit 4 plates? For me, I'll go with not being jabbed and heavier plates any day...

Works as advertised
No non-sense product and very affordable in comparison to other options. I needed a collar to secure my weights on my lifts and this does the job wonderfully. Easy to operate and does not snap wildly when opening it. I’ve used this for snatch, clean and jerks, front squats, and deadlifts. No complaint so far. I’ve dropped the bar from chest high and the collars held well. The collars look good in black as well. I use this product with my Rogue Ohio bar and bumper plates. It goes on and off the sleeves without any issues. Does not leave a scratch on my black oxide bar either. Thanks for producing affordable and functional product. And thanks for the fast shipping as well. I’d buy this again.
