Great stuff as it was when I was a kid long ago

I have been looking for Merthiolate for some time. I was delighted to find it on Amazon. It works wonders if I catch a canker sore in my mouth when it first starts. It stings a little, but it's so worth it not to have 2-3 weeks of bigger sores and lots of pain. My mom used Merthiolate on little boo-boos when I was a child and we never had to spend a lot of money on fancy and expensive prescription medications. I painted bunnies on many a skinned knee and blew on them until it stopped stinging. Used sparingly I would recommend it. I don't want to get started on all the chemicals we are exposed to that are supposedly safe. Merthiolate looks tame in light of other products that have been deemed safe for use. Worth the price and doesn't sting as badly as I remember. :)

I grew up using this product for cuts and scrapes. Hard to find in brick and mortar stores. One of the 3 bottles was broken during shipment but for thr price, I felt no need to complain.

This is great to put on any acne breakouts too and the nose. Clears up acne sores quick. Always been good for healing sores or even boils.

It seems to be the right color. But I remember the old version really burned like crazy. You had to blow on it. This one only burns slightly. So it’s not what I was expecting it to be. I am not sure how effective it is.

Like that it has an applicator included. Its strength seems to be greater than other brands.

When I was a young boy, my parents used to put merthialate on my sores and it burned very much but it helped my wounds so I could continue to get scratches and cuts and this is why I bought the product.
