Unlike some other sculptures this one is not hollow its made solid, a trait of the quality of all Chapman sculptures.Each Chapman sculpture goes through a detailed design process to achieve the beautiful figure you see today.It begins with research of the breed, working closely with kennel clubs to ensure a lifelike design. Once the design is finalised a clay mould is then hand sculpted, which is then hand cast in fine sculptures marble-like resin. Each dog is then hand painted, ensuring the finest details and breed characteristics are kept as accurate as possible.Chapman sculptures originated in 1984 in Worcester England. Created for dog lovers, the focus of each sculpture is the lifelikeness of the dog ensuring all the finest details are captured. Each sculpture features Jenny Chapmans signature, the original artist from which the brand was founded.The sculpture will be packed in a box with sufficient polystyrene to ensure no damage on delivery. The outside packaging features our unique design and this would be perfect for gift giving.

Great for the shelf and dog lovers but small .The pictures are very deceiving.
Really well made and colour is perfect very clever but was hoping for the price of it .it would be bigger but its alot smaller than my garden gnomes so disappointed as the price its very expensive on the size of it.should of read it better.lesson learnt.

Gave this as a wedding anniversary gift to friends who used to have a boxer of this colouring. They were very pleased and the grandchildren gathered round it. It is realistic with particularly beautiful eyes and, once in position on a shelf, the boxer looks as if about to move.
