Introductory Chemistry Essentials (MasteringChemistry)

My son rented this book for his class and it was in good shape and was the right edition that he needed. Amazons book rentals are great!

This book worked well for me. I mean I don't really know exactly what to say about it, it's a textbook and it has words in it that are probably important to Chemistry.

Chemistry-wise, the book is very easy to understand, but unfortunately it often uses “global warming” and rising CO2 levels as the basis of explanations and exercises—as if it were a scientific fact and not a political agenda.

I rented this for my daughter for college , its exactly what she needed for this semester and saved us alot of money from having to buy it . Also she has plenty of time to complete the class before I have to return it . I dont know about other parents with children in college but as for me I am grateful that i was able to rent for an affordable price instead of having to buy it and once she is done she just sends it back .

This was the same book the school sold for way more for my chemistry classOnly down side is I couldn’t write or highlight itEdit: Now that I am in biology this semester. I wish I would have purchased this book.

This was a total scam. I bought this because it was advertised as an actual textbook. It arrived instead as a card with a code in it to unlock the online text, which i could not even do because I needed to get a code from my professor too- and she didn't have one. A waste of money, sadly. I don't like to write bad reviews but J don't want anyone else to find themselves in the same position as I did. When I realized the $$ I spent was useless, it was too late to return.
