Broken seals & spoiled product
Great product but they need to figure out shipping. All 3 jars came with exploded seals and product leaked all over box. Because the seal is broken I’m not eating it. The best part, Amazon says this item isn’t “returnable or replaceable”. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Review Update: Usually, I love this stuff (see general review below). Today is February 3, 2019, and I received my latest jar. I am not pleased, however. Its "Product Date" is "2016-11-05," and its "Best Before" date is "2018-05-02." That is either 9 months ago or a year ago, depending on whether they mean May 2, 2018 or February 5, 2018.DISCLAIMER: The ingredients listed on the label are "Leek Flower, Water, Salt, MSG." The Amazon webpage does not include the MSG in the ingredients list. If you don't like MSG, this stuff is not for you.General Review of this sauce when it is not way past its prime:5 STARS!!This is a sauce with a very strong flavor. It’s a fermented product made from the stinky flowers of the garlic leek. So, it’s supposed to be stinky—like kimchi or natto. If you don’t like stinky food, you won’t like this stuff. However, if you’re into stinky foods, this stuff is a treat. It’s also very salty, by design. With the stinky flowers, the fermentation, the salt, and the MSG, a little goes a long way. Start off with just very little in a recipe. You can always add more. Once you add too much, however, you’re in trouble. It’s especially good with stronger tasting meat, such as lamb, mutton, and game. It’s also great with bland food, like tofu.

Expired - not newly produced product
The product arrived with only one month left before its expiration date. Produced in July 2020, expires in December 2021. The box smelled like a mouse had expired in it. Awful. Don't buy if you are expecting fresh product.
