Kurt Adler Indoor 10 Light 8-Point Capiz Star Treetop with Arabesque Decoration

Gorgeous tree topper & incredibly priced. Most tree toppers as pretty as this & this great of a quality are 2 or 3 times the price. I have lots of Kurt Adler ornaments (not on the tree in this picture but on my other trees in the house; one in every room) & the quality never disappoints. This tree topper went on my main tree in our living room (7.5 ft tree). The star is the perfect size but it is heavy & would not stay up straight due to the weight of it on the top branch. A little creative engineering by using a metal shishkabob skewer to provide a "brace" was a simple, easy fix. Love it!

I wanted to replace the star on my Christmas tree this year. I looked at a few and when I saw this I fell in love! Its a little on the heavy side & I had to rig it to stand up as it flops to one side. It is beautiful though.

The patterns and the light from the star are very pretty. It a bit of fragile since it thin and light weight so be careful if you put to much pressure on arranging it on top of your tree.

The spiral part that attaches the star to the tree snapped off the assembly very shortly after coming out of the box.With a little elbow grease I was able to take it apart and modify the spiral piece to fit into the middle part that holds the lights.Shouldn’t have been that hard but other than that it’s quite pretty.

Being that the item is a Kurt Adler product, I thought it would be nicer quality. The wiring that was used to make the designs is bent and somewhat sloppy. However, when lit up, you can't really tell. The shell exterior is very pretty and I like the overall design. The star is somewhat heavy but being that our artificial tree has I long tip, I was able to work it out. What I liked about this star is that it has 2 sides. One side is the design and the other is very plain. You may see the pictures attached to this review. It is very difficult to find a true 2-sided star topper, which is what I was looking for. This design at least has a plain side, which can I can display in the window and the more elaborate side is seen in the living room. Not exactly what am looking for, but close enough to do for now. Overall, I believe this is a decent star topper and worth the discount price that I paid for it.

It seemed fairly light when I took it out of the box, but when I put it on top of my tree it flopped over. I have a sturdy top branch of my artificial tree that feed all they way up the spiral part of the star base. But even with doing that the star still flopped over. I even tried taking two of the top artificial branches and still it flopped. Maybe it would work with a real tree if the branch is stiffer, not sure. It is pretty, but I can't use it as a tree topper.

Great star and it’s beautiful! It really is a warm light compared to others that have a more bright light. Only downside is we have a 7.5 foot tree that is directly in front of an outlet and it almost doesn’t reach. Wish it was a little longer so I could hide the cord but it is what it is. Still happy with the purchase!!

Great for the price! Way better than the 1-star reviews would have you think. It's only one-sided, so best if your tree is in a corner or something, but for the price, it's actually quite well constructed and some nice, fine detail. The plug plugs directly into the end of my christmas tree lights, so it couldn't be easier to setup. It's not the best thing out there, but I'm so much happier with it than the previous star I had.

This star is gorgeous. The warm white light gives the star a warm, glowing look. The star is 100% finished on one side (as stated in the description), if the tree is against the wall or in a corner, you won’t notice. Our tree was visible from all sides, and the star still looked beautiful from any angle.

Beautiful and elegant. I agree with other reviews that the packaging is terrible. A few screws got shaken out of place during shipping, but it was easy to fix.The star itself is lovely though.
