...it arrived with no spigot. I've had several of these (Coleman and Arrow models), use it in place of a water tank/faucet in my RV, refill it often from a hose or whatever water source. I've used these for years, after awhile algae will start to form, I wash with peroxide when that occurs. After a couple of years of use, my last [Arrow] one cracked so I ordered this one. This is the first of this particular Arrow model I've had, and I can't believe how much easier it is to carry with TWO handles (one at the front and one on the top), makes a BIG difference. [Please see update at the end.]When I bought this it was listed as sold by NY Discounts. I was disgusted to be missing the spigot, but I still had the spigot from my old one, so I used that. I didn't want to go to the bother of returning it. Anyway, I emailed NY Discounts to let them know I'd received the dispenser sans spigot, perhaps Arrow shipped it without the spigot, who knows. I thought the company might want to know about it and take steps to make sure it wasn't repeated, AND, I hoped they'd send me a spigot. Anyway, no reply, annoying. I guess I should have handled it through Amazon, who've always been helpful. Note: What I should've done was leave the seller negative feedback under the "Leave Seller Feedback" link provided from the Order Summary page, duh.NOW, the item is shown as sold by Etailz and fulfilled by Amazon, but I thought I'd tell you of my experience, for what it's worth. Best water dispenser I've found!UPDATE: The dispenser cracked after about six months of use. I banged it against the counter accidentally- wanted to let you know that the plastic is brittle, not malleable, and will crack if banged against something. When the new one came, it came with the dispenser, yay, but inexplicably only a faint trickle of water came out of it. I thought it was faulty, but discovered that somehow or other the paper lining inside the large cap at the top of the dispenser was creating suction that prevented water from flowing out the spigot. I removed it, and now it works perfectly. What a great dispenser!

This product empty is very lightweight, holds 2.5 gallons of water. Each gallon of water weighs 8 pounds, so once full, this container weighs about 20 pounds. A significant amount of water to support in such a light weight container so not surprising that eventually the seams will give out.We have a water ionizer and use these containers to house ionized drinking water in our refrigerator. The manufacturer is very nice and has sent free replacement water nozzles when they have on occasion leaked and also gave us the ability to order extra nozzles at a reasonable cost to have on hand.Our only complaint is we wish there was someway to make these containers a little sturdier so that they would last longer than they do. The good news is that when they do leak while they create a small puddle in our refrigerator they have never leaked to the extent that water permeated everything so the mess was contained. Still these are the best available until someone comes up with a better design. We have been using these containers year round for the past 10 years so for the most part they work fairly well.Amazon was very accommodating when we once experienced a breach in the seam less than 6 months later and replaced them for free. This review is for the 3 gallon beverage dispenser. I purchased two of these dispenser jugs recently for use in dispensing room-temperature water in my kitchen and office.Since I knew in advance that I would be using the two dispensers only for storing and dispensing clean well water, I was not at all concerned about the fact that was mentioned by numerous other reviewers, to the effect that the two handles are hollow and fill with whatever beverage is placed in the dispenser, and cannot be cleaned. Since I will be storing only clean well water in these dispensers, I should never need to thoroughly clean those impossible-to-reach interior surfaces on the insides of the handles, that is, cleaning that might involve scrubbing or scraping.Once I had put my dispenser jugs into service, I noticed that both of them displayed small leaks around the screw-on cap that mounts the spigot on the threaded neck emerging from the lower front of the dispenser. On one of the two dispensers, I was able to totally cure the leak by tightening the screw cap extra hard with great force by hand. On the second leaky dispenser, no amount of hand tightening would completely stop the small leak around the screw cap, and so I grabbed a large pair of channel-lock pliers from my toolbox, set the jaws to a width most suitable for gripping the screw cap, and tightened the screw cap even further with much greater force than I could have applied by hand. Even though the cap tightened only another 1/8th of a turn or so, that extra degree of tightness was sufficient to totally seal the screw-on cap and to permanently cure the small leak.Other than that odd problem with the minor leak around the screw cap holding the dispenser valve/spigot -- a problem which numerous other reviewers have noted as well -- I found these two dispensers to be eminently satisfactory and useful for the application which I had intended.Overall, a very good product but for the minor manufacturing flaws/irregularities in the screw cap and the threaded neck on the dispenser that required me to use great force in tightening the screw caps for the spigots to prevent small leaks from around the cap seal.Yes, I would buy these dispensers again if I were to have a similar need for a dispensing jug.

I love how nice and thin it is. It takes little room in the fridge. Works very well. Easy to clean also.

I’ve purchased two of these. It’s the perfect size for my refrigerator. We keep water in it because my kids like cold water and we don’t have a refrigerator dispenser built-in. Typically these products last 6 to 9 months in my experience before they start leaking all over your refrigerator. It’s so subtle – drop at a time until you realize there’s an inch of water in your produce drawer. I wish the plastic were a bit thicker, so this would not happen.

It is not as sturdy as I would like as I use it on my kitchen counter for drinking room temp. water. However, it is quite attractive looking and truly functional as well as a perfect size. Would definitely buy it again.

The compact, slim size of this water dispenser is perfect for fridges with limited shelf space and especially with no ice maker. The container is made of good quality BPA free clear plastic and the nozzle does not leak. Container can also be laid flat on its side if fridge shelves don't have enough height - you just remove it from fridge to dispense water.
