Excellent construction and materials. It's a lot better quality than I was expecting. I attached it to a left-over piece of pvc board and it works like a charm.

Boot brush appears heavy duty and solid and works well. Just received it so I can't speak about durability. My only complaint is that the mounting screws are made of extremely soft metal. Even with pre-drilling the heads stripped out. I would buy it again but would purchase better screws. Not sure how I am going to get out these ones that are partially inserted

Great quality! Came with everything I needed to mount it to a board and I use this every day. Saves me time and money because I’m tracking less into the house after working outside. Sturdy design.

The brush appears well constructed and robust. Another reviewer stated that the opening was too small for a wide shoe. My 11 EEEEs fit, with some room to spare. As others stated, the screw pack opened in transit strewing the contents. One screw was missing. No matter, I don't care for the screws and inserts included. The insert required a 3/8 inch drill in our brick patio, but then the insert was a bit sloppy in the hole. That's a real problem because when screwing into the insert it just turns without the screw progressing. Also, the included screws are too short to properly engage and spread the split part of the insert. If you buy this boot cleaner plan on buying better quality inserts and screws to mount it on brick or concrete. The included screws also aren't very good for wood. They aren't self tapping which can result in split boards, so plan on either drilling a pilot hole or buying self tapping screws. The American company that distributes this product should work with the Chinese manufacturer to upgrade and properly package the screw set. I don't think any of us would complain if they charge a dime more.

This boot brush/cleaner has become almost a godsend for us. The brush is long and stiff and easily cleans even the most dried on mud off our boots that we get from working on our acreage when we are in wet mud and come back to the house. It's been so nice not to drag in gobs of goo into the house just stepping inside the doorway. Liked it better than another type we got with short brisls and rubber scrapping area that does not really clean off everything well enough. So we bought a second one for the back door! We like it lots.

Pretty tight to start but better in the long run. Cleans boots well.
