So far so good
I bought these lights to place into a new light fixture with multiple bulbs in the socket (and needing dimming capabilities). I already had some dimmable lights so I only bought enough to add the new ones (not replace the old ones) Compared to the other lights (a big name brand) these lights a much lighter (the weight of the light) and the bulb is a bit smaller. The brightness is comparable (I think might be a little less dim than the other brand but I am not totally sure). The Lumen rating is the same. These lights use less power and are rated to last longer (we'll see). The thing that stands out is the low dim point. They can dim to very low brightness, so low that I can only see it at night. I believe that the range is great. I actually bought 4 and needed 3. The extra I put into another light that had one too few. So I had a mixture of the big brand and these Great Eagles. I could see the difference that the highest brightness was comparable, but the Great Eagle handled the lower brightness better (also no flickering or noise).I will buy more of these now to replace the others. These are not the first Great Eagle light bulbs I have bought and so far I am not disappointed.

Cheaper than buying at the hardware store or Walmart - good quality
I do like the cool-white color, and anymore, it sure seems like LEDs are the way to go. Prices keep going down, and I think quality keeps going up. Light! Give me light!

Dims well but not perfect. Good light
I use three of these in a pendant lamp and they look nice. A cool white light but not overly blue. They suit the lamp wellOn my wall dimmer these a fairly steady without too much flickering, tho at some levels there is some flicker. They do not dim all the way to zero, which some LEDs do, but that’s not a problem in my application.

Great Eagle A 19 Led Light Bulb, 9W
These Light Blubs are the future. What I love about them is they are long and they will work when the electricity is off.

Good 400k color Doesn't flicker
Great bulb and good price. Installed 6 of these in my master bath off one lutron dimmer. There is a very slight delay in one or two bulbs on start-up but not bad or annoying. There is NO flashing or flickering with the dimmer from near the bottom to the top. At full on it is very bright, so I dim to about 60% for regular use. Its a bright strong light. Color is perfect. Not yellowish and not blue. I use 3000k color for the rest of my house, but 4000k for the bath which has greys and whites, so my colors don't end up having a yellowish color like the 3000k. Very happy. Have not had long, so can't speak to performance over time.

Hard to judge
I put these in our bedroom ceiling fixture which had a set of three warm white bulbs, which I dislike. These have much more accurate light and dim well. Then I decided to add a dimmer to the den ceiling light and went with my favorite switch, the Lutron Caseta with Pico remote. I installed a half dozen of these already to control the recessed ceiling lights, and have had no issues. So in the den installation, I installed the last of the four Great Eagle lamps and powered up the new switch and it went bright, then turned it off, and this switch does the gradual up and down, and it stopped dimming when the lamp was still lit. Returned and replaced the switch after adjusting low setting and had the same problem. Further investigation seemed to indicate Ghost Current. WTF? Evidently there are homes that develop a slight current on their own and LED lamps are sensitive to this and might not shut all the way. Adding a resistor could be an answer, but i tried other lamps. Finally found the MR-16 LED mini flood lamps in our torchiere turn all the way off. It's somewhat weird to see these two bright areas inside the opaque glass bowl shade, but we use that light to get to the couch and turn on the torchiere, so it's not an aesthetic faux pax. However, I could be in your home. Maybe a different switch? Maybe just a circuit with no ghosts? Lutron's list of tested lamps include primarily GE and Sylvania, but the item numbers don't bring up anything useful on Amazon, so good luck. However, Amazon's return policy is great, but if you need these to light the Thanksgiving table at 30% brightness, you might have a problem.

Great bulbs - great price
These bulbs work great! When a few of our existing dimmable LED bulbs died, we bought replacements at Walmart and at Home Depot. However, those bulbs flickered when dimmed. In all fairness, it's possible that those other bulbs were not compatible with the GE Smart DImmer we use throughout our house. The good news - these bulbs stay rock solid - regardless of the dimming. Also, we bought 3 boxes, and all 12 work perfectly. No dead bulbs. One note - many soft-white bulbs have a color temp of 2700K. These bulbs have a color temp of 3000K. It's a small difference, but if you mix and match bulbs in the same fixture, you may see the difference.
