Wahl Color Pro Complete Hair Cutting Kit, 79300-400T

I am glad I made the choice to go with Wahl clippers. I follow the basic guidelines to start with highest clip and then smaller clips later. Once I understand how the clippers work, I also use the lever to adjust the height of the clipper guard for better cutting. It takes a while to get to some positions e.g. right hand trimming left back side. The ear clips were delightful. As I got more confidence I use the lower clippers especially to trim the small hairs left behind. The kit comes with comb and scissors but I really did not know how to use comb with scissors when looking in the mirror, so I got some help with the Scaredy cat scisssors, with the permission of my cats. I was able to cut some of the bangs and made my hair look round and cute like before. I got lots of likes from my friends on Facebook but there is a lot of learning for me to do. At least my hair is no longing sticking in my neck and ear. After use, I removed the blades and clean them as there is a lot of small hair stuck on the blades. Putting back the blades I did an adjustment for alignment. Now the clipper is all ready for the next cut. Thank you Wahl. This clipper seems to be made in USA, so I am very delighted with it.

Never tried home hair cuts but the coronavirus situation pushed me to order this clipper from Amazon. Clipper comes with a number of clip on guides that control hair length and has a lever that allows you to blend hair length between combs. We watched a YouTube on men's haircuts video and my wife gave it a go. I was a bit shaggy; two months since my last professional haircut. She used the #4 guide on the sides and the #5 on the top. She used the bare clipper set to the lowest setting to clean up the hair at the base of my neck. Clipper cuts very clean and even. Results were really good. Very pleased with the haircut. My only negative comment is that the scissors and comb that comes with the set is of unbelievably poor quality. Wahl would have been better served not to include them with the set or to have popped for something a bit better.

Very pleased. Like many others, I am locked down for COVID and finally hit a breaking point where I couldn't take the long hair anymore, and ordered some supplies. Lots of kits are sold out or overpriced due to the high demand, but I caught a decent price on this one and went for it.The clippers are the main attraction and are mostly what I care about. They are solid and well constructed, and came with an excellent selection of guards, good instructions, and a small bottle of oil for the blades. The guards go on and off easily and feel secure. Note that this is a home model and the cord isn't that heavy duty or that long, which is fine for my needs. I give the clippers an A and was very pleased to have everything I needed in the box.As you might expect, the shears are pretty crappy. They'll do the job, and I cut my hair with them, but if you're going to be cutting hair regularly, invest in nicer ones. I give the shears a C.The comb is flimsy garbage. You should definitely invest in a good comb. They aren't expensive. You could get by with it, but you shouldn't. I give the comb a D.

3rd time's the charm, right? After trying two different sets of clippers on my boyfriend's insanely thick hair and mangling the back with the second pair, I ordered these and they worked pretty well. These are HEAVY, as in solid which makes me more confident that they are decent quality. There is a very audible click/thunk when you switch them on, which I was told is normal by someone who works with motors and electronics. I love that every guide is a different color, which will make them easier to find once I get used to which color is which length. There are plenty of lengths, and I am interested to try the over-ear fade guides.

Great product with all the tools my wife (or me in the mirror sometimes) needs to cut my hair. Only drawback is the flimsy plastic case it comes in. That’s why only 4 stars. This is my second Wahl kit. I emptied out the first one and transferred all the new equipment into it since it was larger and stronger. Recycled the new carrying case.

My husband's hair was out of control. He looked like no one owned him. I have no idea what I'm doing but my friend recommended this kit. I used the #7 guard all over. It's a fine quarantine cut, and he says he's happy with it and happy to have the heft and heat of those luscious locks gone. He just needs to trim his beard to match now.The kit was super easy to use, as someone who has never touched clippers in her life. Just wish the case was a little better, but for the price I can figure out my own storage solution.

This clipper set is great I love the colored clips, easy to plug in and use, comes with hair scissors, and the carrying case to hold it all is my favorite. The only drawback to this product is that it's heavy. The buzzer itself is a good shape to hold, but weirdly top-heavy so it's not super easy to buzz your own head all the way around. I assume if you used this on a friend's head it may be easier and the heavy-ness won't matter as much. Good product with fast shipping and good price.

Exellent of course it's a Wahl. Seriously what else can you say. this replaced ones that were over 40 years old. It was almost exactly the same product the only reason the old ones went bad is because they were dropped on ceramic tile from a standing position. They had been dropped before but this time they landed just right. 40 years I bought the same ones again!

Seems to be a reasonable kit, however living in Australia and the old 240v trick. Most of my previous Amazon purchases have been OK regarding voltage selection (items identify that they are 120 or 240 volt). This didn't (or I missed it). Thought it may have been dual voltage (similar to laptop power adapters), unfortunately not... Made a lot of noise and let me trim my COVID beard before the unit started smoking.Guess I should read the fine print more closely...

I only used this product once or twice and this time my son started howling and crying in pain as it ripped chunks of his hair out. This is not normal this company is going down the drain. This is unacceptable after 3 months for it not to work. Not only that I have to pay to ship it to be repaired.Unacceptable please save your children the trauma and purchase another product
