Product does it’s job. That said, it must be used delicately, almost in a deliberately slow walk. The slightest increase in stride causes the ‘buttons’ to come out, and the springs beneath will fly out. If you can find them again, they go back together easily. These are made to do a slow therapeutic walk or to stand in for a short time, not for causal wearing around the house.

These shoes were purchased as a gift for my husband. He uses them often and believes that they provide some value to aid in blood flow but says that he has not really noticed any relief from pain. He shared that they are painful to walk in without socks so he often wear his with socks. Maybe if he chose to wear without socks he would gain some pain relief.

It took my husband some time to get use to--15 minutes a day.

These sandals are interesting. Like others have mentioned, they feel best with socks when you start out and I think standing in them feels better than walking in them.
