Like. Used for DD 15 engine

Bought to use on DD15 engine to reseal cam housing. The turning tool broke right away. I was able to fix it, but it wouldn't work unless washers were used to shim it away from the flywheel. The timing pin worked, but was looser than it should have been. The tool that locks them cams in time at the front of the engine fit poorly. The pins were too tight of a fit into the cam housing and one broke when the tool was removed. The bracket with timing marks for the cam gears worked ok. The timing marks were a little off. Overall, this tool can be made to work and it's sure cheaper than the OE tooling, but for anyone working on multiple DD engines, I think better quality tooling would be a wise investment.

The barring tool literally broke on the first use barring over a dd15. The timing tool is off by a tooth even on ghg17 engines and is oversized meaning it’s unnecessarily wide so it hits the breather tube on dd13 and 15 engines. I only use the fuel line socket which also is kind of short for some applications.

This tool set works and the best I can tell aliens the makes BUT and yes that is a huge But the brass looking pins Do NOT fit. at first I was thinking it might just be the oil in the holes keeping the tool from sliding all the way down to set correctly. so I cleaned them out. It didn't work, still very tight. so then I thought something was not aliened just right, so I wiggled everything maybe that would do it, to no avail. So then I thought with my hand I would try to push it just a little to see if the tool wasn't just tight and was not broken in yet. well after it would not go down any more I thought maybe I need to take a closer look at it and see what I could find. I removed the took and the pin on the exhaust cam side was not in the tool. In fact there is nothing to keep the pins from coming out of the tool at all. well the simple job now has turned in to a nightmare. I will come back to let you know how this will end up. but for now think long and hard before you buy this tool

Got done with an out of frame and had timing codes. Finally found out that this tool isn't marked right and is off by one tooth.

I found the Important part of the kit did not fit. Timing mark too holed did not line up and camshaft lock would not fit in place.

Garage de camion lourd, utilisé l'outil, tout fonctionne très bien. Pris du temps à arriver, mais le vendeur avertissait d'avance pour le délais, donc rien à redire.
