Beautiful Booty
I waited a few months to make sure these boots were as awesome as they initially appeared. I wanted a pair of shoes I could just throw on no matter what the conditions were outside - from sunshine to snow - socks/nosocks - and run out the door. Bonus - look semicute. Additionally I was really looking for a camping shoe. We do a lot of backcountry camping but base out of our SUV. We go all times of year so having to shove shoes on for those middle of the night bathroom breaks hasn't been so much fun. We just finished up a 4-day trip in the middle of nowhere and I feel safe to say these boots are in fact awesome. The way that they are made it's just very easy to slide your foot in. So, we covered potty breaks but we hit so much more. I wore them as my "crusing" shoes since they were easy to take off/on. I wore them on the the hey, let's check out that trail! Amazingly, they actually stay put very well. I use them around the house to hike with the dog in the adjacent Park and they're completely suitable for hills and mud. Or chasing the mail man.I cannot express how comfortable these boots are. Especially after a few months of wear and breaking in. I have to admit I found the padding weird at first. Not bad, just weird. The heel is extra padded. Almost is a heel within a heel. Not sure how else to explain it other than if you don't like shoes with ample heel padding, avoid them. I'm really not sure why that is. The whole bottom is very padded. But that section is extra. BUT over the couple months of wearing them it has flattened out and feels more natural now. But it is still "cushy" padded.I wear them with socks, thick socks, thin socks, or no socks. It really doesn't much matter and that's awesome. It is certainly nice to have that option. I am almost always a size 6 but sometimes a 5.5. The six fits me just fine but if it was any larger, I'd probably have issues. They're definitely not a summer boot but I can't really think of too many things that are. The padding is warm but it is not so excessive that I would consider this a winter shoe. Or to rephrases, we're travelling to the White Mountains in a few weeks and these will be coming. For me, it these will be a purpose boot. I will definitely be wearing them this Summer especially in rainy weather. As I mentioned, getting around in these things is great. It's cushioned four-wheel drive. Whether you were running into the store or up the side of a mountain, they work! I feel it's an amazing bargain for the price. They are excellent in rain and mud and about everything the outdoors could throw at you. I also find them to be terribly cute with jeans rolled up. The longer I have these the more I end up wearing them. If you are looking for a casual, deal with anything, tough booty, this is it. I guess one final protip, I saw these come up as a return for such a good price after I already had them. I was in too deep but if you are interested and can wait for them to come up in your size, you might get a real steal. Then again, if your shoe patience is like me, you probably won't be able to wait and really, even at regular, it is worth it! Kick stuff, take names!

Leaks
This is my second pair of Chookas. Last winter I purchased a pair, but they developed a hole in the sole and began to leak, so I threw them out. I was willing to give them another chance, so this winter I picked up another pair. I ordered them on November 19th, and now three months later, I'm once again throwing them out because they've developed leaks. In addition to a hole in sole, the entire heel piece has separated from the left shoe which leaves a three inch gap for water to enter. For the price point I really would expect to get more than three months of wear out of them. It's disappointing because I love the look of them, and they're quite toasty until they start leaking.

Warm and Sturdy.
Okay. I have average to wide 8&1/2 sometimes 9 size feet now. They keep growing 😐 anyway, right foot little wider, fussier. I usually always go up when half sizes aren't an option so I went with 9. Plenty of room!! Almost too much. If you're a smaller 8&1/2 the 8 will do! Plenty wide and roomy for extra extra socks for my foot. They are heavier than the average slip on rain boot. Seem well made. Bottom is very grippy. The lining is thick!! And so warm. Within 3 minutes of waking in the house my feet were cooking. Very cushioned foot pad. I have PF and these I can really "feel". They'll take a bit of adjusting and wear to average that out but I prefer that to zero cushion. It looks to be removable tho. I will definitely update once worn in rain and snow 👍

In love 😍
These should serve their purpose (rain/snow boots) well! Will update if there’s an issue not being waterproof, etc. These are super cute yet simple. They have quite the heel, but nothing that isn’t as described in the photos. I’m excited to put these to good use outdoors.Update: All is awesome! I’ve used these for a couple of months now as my go-to in the rainy, sleet and snow weather. They’ve held up excellent. These have maintained their non slick soles. Best of all, they are 100% WATERPROOF. I cannot say enough good things about my favorite pair of galoshes!

Amaze balls
10/10 recommend these boots!! I originally bought them from Costco and I’ve been wearing them everytime I leave the house for months. They’re so comfortable. Good for Washington weather since they’re waterproof. My only advice is to size down one size. They might be tight at first but the fur inside will squish and they will be loose. I love these so much I bought my cousin some, I called me sister immediately and she also went to Costco to buy some. All 3 of us now cannot go anywhere together or we’ll be matching boots hahaha

Lacking
I really wanted to love these booties, but i should have returned them. They were cute and waterproof, easy to put on and take off, what could go wrong? Well, as other reviewers have said the insole is weird, there's a hump in the center toward the back of the arch in front of the heel. When you step its more pronounced because the sole is very cushy. Because they slip on they're a little loose in the heel, especially after wearing in the faux fur lining. That faux fur lining isn't as warm as i was hoping it would be either. When i walk i feel like im dragging the heel. And if you walk on any surface that isn't perfectly flat it feels like your ankle will roll because the heel is narrow. But the tread is pretty good.

LOVE THESE
So stylish and comfortable. The fuzzy liner is very cozy and warm. The bump in the sole was a little weird at first but it does provide some arch support. I'm typically an 8 1/2 so ordered a 9. They are perfect with socks. They also accommodate my wide foot very nicely. I would order these again in a flash!

Can't get passed the Lump and Too Large
I should have listened to the reviewers who said the boots have very uncomfortable lumps in the arch area. The lumps are very pronounced and do not count as arch support - they are too far back from the arch. The rubber that is used for the soles is far too squishy. This makes the boots very unstable and sloppy. Additionally the boot is about a 1/2 to full size too large. I am a very standard size 9. I ordered a 9 and they are far too big. Too roomy and too long. Such a bummer as they are a very good looking boot and the cozy lining is nice. Unfortunately they are being returned.

Fit Large
Too big, returned. Order 1 size down. They seem like they would be good. If they fit I would have kept them.
