Solid comfort food, but could use a pinch of salt.
I've been eating this and other varieties (and competing similar products) as a part of a dietary meal plan, so I thought I'd share my experience. I'm not going to focus on nutritional details since that's readily available on the package. Instead I'm focusing solely on subjective experience, and since I ordered like 20 different kinds I'm going to use a standard template because I'm lazy that way.PREPARATION: Heating time was accurate; one minute in a 900w microwave oven on a rotating plate perfectly heated the entree.OBSERVATIONS: This is like eating a pot pie without the pastry, or a hearty chicken noodle soup without the soup part. Personally I love the pastry but even without it this is very good. The chicken is the same sort of tastes-like-canned chicken breast that Hormel seems to enjoy using in these entrees, but since the pieces are cut much smaller than their "chicken breast" entrees it actually works better this way. The carrots are super-tiny, probably to allow even heating so that can be forgiven, and are nicely cooked. The peas were an odd mix; some of them were slightly overcooked, others were slightly undercooked. I'm not sure what happened there. There were very tiny slivers of red pepper in there too, though this added nothing to the texture and virtually nothing to the flavor of the entree. The pasta is nicely firm and the sauce adds a good amount of flavor without being overpowering.VERDICT: Solid comfort food. I would like better quality chicken but that could be said for all of Hormel's entrees. I will be ordering this again.

WHERE IS THE BEST BY DATE? IT IS TOTALLY LEFT BLANK.
How is it even legal for them to sell food that has no best by date? I have no idea how long this has been sitting in a warehouse or is good for. Now I have paid for something I have to risk getting sick to eat which defeats the purpose of buying it in the first place.
