Q: do you really need the crean in older to get this wrap?

Well it all helps. I would use an oil, hot oil or almond oil, orange oil and rub it in then wrap yourself. a cream or oil always helps to sink in the body and helps burn faster.

Q: Is it just 1 roll. How long? Can't find the yards or quantity. Is it a one time use?

1- 2 hours daily. The description says 40 meters but I have measured close to 50. Please use it daily with the Curveez Gel along with their waist cincher. It is the Bomb!!
