Applied as directed by internet search as there are no instructions. Took almost the whole container because it says in order to get the best crackling it needs to be applied thick. Little to no crackle. Some very fine but I was looking for large crackle. Whole reason for buying this. Now I will have to sand it all off and use plain old white glue which I have experimented with since and works much better. Just make sure to top it with paint while still tacky.

All of the Art Basics products are wonderful, and this is no exception. It crackles effortlessly and beautifully, whether applied thickly or thinly. I will say that when dry, it has almost more of a "pearl" sheen than platinum. So if you want a more metallic look, silver would be a better choice. But I love the look of the pearly platinum for lighter colored projects.

This is a great texture paste! It dries to an awesome sparkly black finish. I love it!

I absolutely love the look of this graphite textured paste. You can leave it as is from the jar or paint it and it looks amazing. Just purchased my second jar because I used it on so many canvasses and boxes.

I used this for mixed media art. Crackled very well, better than other products of this type that live used.

I just used it for the first time and I was very happy with the results. It has a very nice crackle effect. It made my project come out so nice. I am already planning to get more for other projects.

Doesn't crackle quite as well as I'd hoped. Texture is small and not super obvious unless you look very closely.
