The Art of Spiritual Hypnosis is a fascinating, thought-provoking and engrossing read of case studies and more from top hypnotherapists around the world in which clients are guided into deep hypnosis and can then contact their “Higher Power”. Accessing this higher wisdom allows long-standing issues to often be resolved in minutes. Even agnostic clients have felt connected to something so much greater than our normal reality would suggest. This book has inspired me to explore Spiritual Hypnosis even more deeply.

I absolutely loved this book. I now understand how we can use the power of our higher mind to heal ourselves, to understand others better and to realize that life is continuous because our consciousness never dies but just continues to evolve. This book gave me a better sense of who I am and why I am here experiencing the physical world. I highly recommend!

So little useful information on such a wondrous and rich subject. As a busy hypnotist and coach I wanted to learn about the doing of this, not read seemingly endless case studies! And some of the contributors are SO WAY OUT THERE, frankly I'm embarrassed for them. Anyone with a suggestion for a good book on this subject, please comment. Many thanks.

Some contributors provided great, well-written case analyses, others were pedantic. Overall, I learned a lot, would recommend that authors focus on positive experiences.

Love this - Once I started reading these inspiring, UP-lifting stories, I couldn't put it down.

Because I am partially interested in this area, I read the book to see what I could learn. This book is full of examples from around the world of clients who have been helped by hypnotists utilizing this concept. Whether or not their clients actually went to past lives or it is a metaphor to help the psyche heal will most likely never be determined. For a client who is suffering inner turmoil however, is this resolution important? Or is the real importance the fact that they become less encumbered by turmoil in their lives. As a Hypnotist, I of course see this as a main goal. In my quest to learn evermore new techniques to help clients I found it useful. So in my case I would have liked to have had more instruction on implementing it. Therefore I rated it a well deserved 4 instead of a 5. If you want to explore how this process may be useful for helping your clients or you personally, it would be a great book to read.

I thought the book was knowledgeable but to short in words. It could have given more wisdom on the brain.

I purchased this book because I assumed it was going to be similar to Roy Hunter's book Hypnosis for Inner Conflict Resolution. It's not. Basically it's is compilation of various hypnotherapist describing how they have used spiritual hypnosis to good effect. While some of the accounts are interesting, it's a bit thin on the ground. if you are looking for a 'how to' text. Basically, if you don't know what you are doing to begin with, this book isn't going to tell you.The whole book could be summed up like this...Client X came to see me so I did spiritual hypnosis with them. Their spirit parts suggested client X should do Y. Client X did Y and now client X is totally happy.Rinse and repeat ad nauseam. You can now thank me for saving you £20.

This is a brave book which explores and explains how we can access the higher worlds and altered states via hypnotic induction. It explores how the doors of perception can open when we get the conscious mind out of the way. By bringing in the perspectives and experiences of practitioners around the world, it is clear that these phenomena are pervasive in all cultures and independent of race, creed and culture. A lovely mix of theory and 'real world' case study, while also questioning what is real anyway.

All Roy Hunter's publications/ teachings are worth their weight in gold. This will be a valuable volume and addition to my library.I've been searching for something which explores the Divine and spiritual aspects within Hypnosis and this does just that.

Have all the books written by Roy Hunter, love them all and this is no exception. The fact that I know some of the therapists who have contributed makes it even better.

Very inspirational. Some of the stories resonate well with me and this is book I will revisit often.
