SKB3i-TSA-3 TSA 3 Locking Latch Kit

I bought this to add locks to 3 of my skb bow cases. They are really easy to install.

The locks are a nice adder fir around the block…. But TSA is still going to require a lock on every lockable point (you’ll need 6).

Ordered 3 sets to do all latches on drone case. The forward 2 latches were an easy install. The ones on the sides needed some modification to make them click into latch position. The nut and stud on the backside of the latch was contacting the sidewall of the case and needed to be ground down. Bench grinder and a spray bottle of water to keep cooling the metal so as not to melt the latch. After shaving about half the nut down they now fit perfectly. Would give 5 stars if all fit without modification. Maybe they're only designed to fit on the front?... Either way, a little grinding and all good.

These are great replacement locking latches for the SKB case I use! The installation was easy and the locks are solid. I realize that even steel plated safes are not 100% secure from would be thieves...However, and the ONLY reason I gave a rating of 4 instead of 5 is because the ease of installation demonstrated just how easy it is for ANYone to remove these locking latches just as easily...Again, I realize this is NOT the means by which to expect 100% security as it is a briefcase style case, but this is my just my opinion and perhaps yours will be the same. I certainly do not want to carry around a steel safe when I carry my valuables, but still.OVERALL great product that adds to the great SKB case!

I think these are interesting because they work exactly as advertised but, any half-witted person could see that you just need to knock the hinge out and you can easily bypass the lock! Haha.Wish they were included on the case itself.

The guy at SKB says these work for modifying your 2 lock gun case to a 4 lock gun case and thats pretty much correct ,,all you need is a decent file to and take a little material of the hinge and your done,,slip the pin thru and your finished ,,I now have 4 TSA key locks along with 2 TSA padlocks to protect my expensive Safari rifle

I used to have two separate locks on my gun case when I traveled. At the airport the TSA would ALWAYS want to see in my case - which meant I had to sit and wait at the ticket counter until the TSA guys got around to asking me for my keys.So I installed these locking latches. The installation was very easy. It took about 5 minutes to swap them out. The problem is anybody with a TSA key can open these up! This means that if you want to break into someone's luggage, all you need to do is order this lock kit and use the keys on any TSA-approved device.I think I'm going to stick to my two separate locks. I'll use these as well, I just won't rely on them. This means I'll continue to sit at the United counter waiting for the TSA.

Great product that I used for my SKB pistol case. Though likely not as secure as a master lock, these provide adequate protection from theft. The locks are a little stiff upon first use. Great for traveling compliance

These locking clasps for the SKB iSeries case I have are awesome! I would have loved to have them originally on my compound bow case, but installing them was a snap and the added security of keeping my expensive (and dangerous to those who don't know how to use it) bow secure when I am not around makes me feel better about these little safeguards.

Schade nach dem ich nun 8 Sätze von den Umbau Satz gekauft habe, kann man keinen Schlüssel Unterschied feststellen, daher völlig wertfrei. Somit kommen noch einmal Kosten auf einen zu um die Zylinder zu Wechseln wenn man nicht alle mit dem selben Schlüssel aufmachen will. Somit Wochenende nur der Optischen Abschreckung und man muss immer noch ein Vorhänge Schloss ein planen.
