I wound up returning this. The armband isn't so bad, and the phone case worked okay. It didn't feel like it had much cushioning. But it handled one drop off our dining room table. Overall, not bad.The reason I returned it is the mount between the armband and the case. In order to get the phone attached to the armband, I have to slide the disc on the back of the case into the mounting slot on the armband. But the fit was so tight that I wound up pushing the armband off my arm and still didn't have a reliable lock onto the armband. I don't see how I can use the phone or apps on the phone when mounting (and unmounting) takes that much effort.I can't say it's terrible. But I would not recommend it.

Beware when you order that you get what you intend. Most of them have a clear plastic front cover that you cannot use as a touch screen. That variety also gets the bad reviews -- falls apart. There is ONE that is sturdy -- it's open on the front and has black corner straps to hold the phone in. That's the one I'm reviewing. It's very sturdy and easy to use. Will fit most phones. However, I returned it because I have old lady arms and when I attached it to my arm, it stayed in place vertically, but my old lady arms mean that it wiggles from side to side unless it attach it kind of behind my arm, which means I can't access the phone. The design is great, but just not great for me. I'm sure many other people will love it.

UPDATE. WOW! what a great customer service follow up. I did not ask for a replacement and only suggested selling a replacement of the holder piece for the future. The TRIBE company read my review and issued me a full replacement which I did not request. What great followup and customer support! Thank you-Ruben Soto I Likes the width of the armband and being able to detach the phone from the armband holder, but was disappointed the rubber strips broke after 3months of use. The strips are thin flat stretchable rubber, but since they are flat, are not very think for long life. Sure enough, two broke when stretching onto the phone, so it could no longer hold the phone. Since there is a detachable part, Would be great if the company sold a replacement phone cradle with new bands to hold the phone.

Update: twice when I’ve been putting my phone in it, the rubber straps have caught the corners of my screen protector. So now I need to replace my screen protector.I was worried about the safety of my phone in this band, but that is NOT an issue! Even after I remove it from the top bands, it’s still held in by the others, or vice versa.I really like the turning feature, which makes it much easier to see and access the screen while wearing the arm band.I run in the desert, so sometimes it’s in the 80s or higher and I’m dripping sweat, but it doesn’t get uncomfortable or itchy.I did have the velcro strap come undone one day, but it didn’t fall off my arm, and I was able to easily reattach it. Maybe I just didn’t have it lined up quite right.

I just got this in last night and used it for the first time this morning. I'm really pleased with my purchase so far. My phone is easy to get in and out of the straps, even with a PopSocket, but it still fits snugly enough that I don't have to worry about it falling out. I also love that you can detach your phone without having to take it out of the case. It makes changing music, answering calls and messages, and checking the time significantly easier. The one critique I have is that the band isn't as long as some of the other armbands I've had and might pose a problem for larger arms. I'd love to see the company make a larger size.

Love that I can run with this armband and quickly remove my phone if a call comes in.One of the straps on the phone holder did break. But their customer service was outstanding. They responded within 24 hours. Just asked for a photo to show the break and then sent out a replacement. The whole thing was replaced and back in use in about 4 days.

Bought this armband based on the positive reviews, but couldn‘t be more disappointed. The rubber band is flimsy and snapped on the very first use, see photo. Get a better product, this one is very bad workmanship. Made in China, what to say.Update: Following my initial review, I received a replacement product that works. Thank you for the quick service. I’m giving now 4 stars... can’t give 5 because the first product was defective. But overall I’m now happy with the armband.

Other than having to be so tight, it seems to be working well. It fits over my iPhone 7 with an Otterbox Defender case. Unfortunately, I have to remove the bands for it to fit in the Otterbox belt holder
