A cute book to teach about diversity and how we are all really the same. Short and sweet for k-1 grades.

I used this book for circle time talking about different skin tones and that no matter what we look like or where we come from we all have things in common. It is a very simple book with great, colourful and large illustrations which all of the children engaged with. I would recommend this book for children from 2 to 5.

This book is a lovely and simple way of getting across how we are all different in our own ways but we are also the same in many ways eg (not a quote from the book) Wu uses chopsticks to eat his dinner, Tom uses a knife and fork........but they both drink there juice with a straw. Lovely for Reception class to support around the world topic.

I am a childminder so find this type of book invaluable in my work, although my granddaughter was not very interested in it (she loves to read the new books I buy and that is usually a good guideline for me).
