I love this game because it’s easy to follow, it comes with everything ready so there’s no printing required, and they give so many pieces (like the murder weapons for the weapon hunt) you have 3 alternate endings, so you can play it up to 3 times. It gives you plenty of room to use your imagination and really create your character. I played this with Friends earlier this year and will be playing it with family on Christmas, which leads me to the next reason I love this game, it’s humorous and not raunchy like some of the MM games can get, so you don’t feel gross playing the game with your family. If your friends get into their characters the way mine did, you’ll be laughing all night.

This was a great activity for a group of teenagers. I love how everything is planned and prepared, but it could be a bit simpler. For example, some games have a special booklet/script per player, and do not require quite so many times of getting up and down. It was hard to follow this game and keep everyone engaged.

We loved getting into character and every character has a hilarious quirk that the player has to imitate! Loads of laughs !!

This was so much fun! Set up was easy and it goes you enough information to get into your characters. I like that it has multiple endings so we can do it again!

I saw another review mention this, but there were many positive reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Package arrived with a mailing label on top, but the seals on the lid to keep it closed and tamper-proof were broken. I didn't immediately notice any pieces missing, but I'm not going to check - I'll just buy it from another outlet.

We love these murder mysteries by Talking Tables. You can use them three times, which really gives you a bang for your buck. We have only used this particular one once, but it was kind of predictable for the story we used. Not a single person got it wrong. In murder at the Theater, it had a couple of ways to go, but was definitely still doable. I can’t wait to play it a second time and try the other ones!

The game had lots of details and instructions for how to run the perfect murder mystery party, but if you have likeminded and intelligent individuals that discuss the clues often..it is very easy to solve.

I got this for my eldest child's mates. They took over the dining room, the living room & anywhere else she hid clues.They didn't complete it because they had so much fun & hysterics with the role play (first time doing a murder mystery!). It's not my first rodeo, though, & this is definitely a lovely kit. Well organised, easy to follow, nicely presented, good quality. Love it!

It was fun to play and it’s very nice that there are so many items included. The murder conclusion was quite disappointing, though. Also, the people, that play it for the second time with the different scenario, don’t enjoy the game too much anymore, as the logic of the riddles is the very same in all the three variants. Basically only the characters are shuffled but other than that the 3 versions are identical which I think is is a big pity.

Quite expensive but was a fun game pre Christmas.

I got this for my mum for Christmas and we played it that night. There were only 5 of us but it still worked really well (just make sure you read out all the clue cards if there are fewer players than cards). We also found a 1930s music playlist which really added to the atmosphere!The story was a bit complicated but just enough to make it interesting without making solving the murder impossible, and there are three possible endings so you can use it more than once.I'd really recommend this game, whether you just want to play it as a family night in or go all out with invitations and dressing up!
