Another Gallo treat as Pike and Gigi continue their whirlwind romance!
Burn is the incredible conclusion to Pike and Gigi's story. Their whirlwind romance which started in Flame is still mired in a bit of crazy and a whole ton of excitement and I don't mean behind closed doors!Picking up right where we left off in Flame, Pike's no good 'father' continues to mess up his life even though Pike left home years before. Just when things were turning a corner for Pike and Gigi, Colton Moore rears his ugly head and things get even more complicated. What Bliss does so well even in these spinoff books is show the Gallo strength, with Gigi's Uncles coming to the rescue time and time again. We all want that kind of support especially when things go awry and with this crew, that seems to be the norm. I love the firm decision-making at a moment's notice and the way Gigi's family takes care of their own. It truly remains the crux of these stories. With the addition of Austin Moore and the very independent Tamara Gallo, this book is full of twists and turns with trouble finding Pike and Gigi more often than not. There are plenty of tender moments between them but with Joe Gallo still a bit unyielding when it comes to his baby girl's love life and all the mayhem that quickly ensues, this book is fast-paced and one hell of an enjoyable ride.Hold on tight because when it comes to a Gallo, nothing is ever easy but then that's what makes their books so damn addictive. Burn is well-written and is a true page-turner that I couldn't put down. Chelle Bliss is in her best groove when it comes to the Men of Inked and I can't wait for what she has in store for us next.5 stars all the way!

Love Pike and Gigi!
Burn is smokin hot! It is also the continuation of Pike and Gigi’s story that began in Flame. So, if you haven’t read Flame yet, stop, go read it because Burn picks up right where Flame left off! This book is full of twists and turns, steamy moments and characters you can’t help but love.Pike never seems to be looking for trouble but trouble and complications seem to be following him around every turn when all he really wants is to find peace and happiness with Gigi!He has had the opportunity to see what family truly means by simply being the presence of the Gallo family. Family has always meant so much to these people and because of that, they love deeply and always support and protect each other. It is something he never had growing up.Gigi has found a man to fall for that has all the qualities she loves about her dad. He is fierce, loyal, passionate and would protect her with his life. Combine that with her smart, sassy, loving personality and these two are a perfect match for each other.I love this new generation of Gallos and can’t wait to see what shenanigans they will be up to next!

"I can love her like no one else ever can or will."
Pike and Gigi are one of my favorite Gallo couples along with Joe and Suzy, of course. I couldn’t wait to find out what was in store for them next. I read the entire book during a long car ride, and my emotions ran from nervous and excited to elated and wistful. As with all of the Gallo books, I felt as if I was right there with them as they maneuvered around the obstacles that came their way.Pike always spoke to Joe in a respectful and confident manner. He never backed down from Joe’s scrutiny and his love for Gigi never wavered. I admired the way Pike vowed to always protect Gigi and keep her safe, even when Joe was giving him dirty looks. Pike feared that his past would catch up with him someday. He was glad he had the loyalty and expertise of the Gallo’s to have his back. When Pike loves someone he loves hard, and his passion and devotion for Gigi is undeniable. I was touched when Gigi decided to accompany Pike on a trip to visit his family. Pike’s softer side emerged when he was reunited with his brother Austin, who he hadn’t seen in ten years. I felt the love he had for his brother, along with the regret that they had been apart for so long. Family is everything to the Gallo’s and now that Pike was one of them, Austin would be welcomed with open arms.

Meh :/
Although I love Pike as a character and Gigi too, this book just didn’t suck me in. It seemed a bit scattered and so many pieces of multiple storylines that not a single one really stood out. Even the angst didn’t work for me. I kept waiting for the story to pick up after the first quarter of the book, then, the first third of the book, then, half...you see where I’m going with this. It never did. There were glimpses of romance in the story-when Pike freely gave himself in order to save GiGi’s family. Otherwise? Nothing. Also, I’m used to these books packing a punch of heat. Not this one. Nearly none.Fingers crossed that wildfire cranks up the heat-romance too. It definitely has ready characters to.

Burn hot!! 🔥🔥🔥
Burn is the second book in Heatwave series. This is continuation of Flame. Chelle this blew me away! Gigi will fight like hell to keep Pike in her life. Her dad disagrees with this relationship. He makes it well known of the fact. Pike’s past comes after him. He tries to be good person. Pike’s father attacks Gigi in her apartment and Pike comes looking for Gigi. He knocks out the man. Gigi’s uncles take Pike’s father to the FBI. Pike’s mother was killed and he has to go home to deal with her funeral. Pike introduces Gigi to his grandmother and brother. He has not seen his brother in ten years. This is hard for him to deal with because his mother was so nasty to him. He has to be there for his brother. This is harder on him than he thought. Pike brings Austin back with him. Their father’s past is catching up to him. The Gallo accepts them as family and family has each other’s back. Definitely a page turner. Pike got more than he asked for. The Gallos are more than he expected. They are so close net something he is not use to. The adventure continues with Wildfire. I can’t wait to the next book

An awesome and addictive conclusion to Gigi and Pike's story.
Burn, the conclusion of Pike and Gigi's story was awesome and quite frankly un-put-down-able, addictive, amusing, and captivating. And I was gripped throughout. Thanks not only to Gigi and Pike but the whole Gallo family. Who all like to get involved in everyone's business, and are really not happy to hear Gigi was attacked by Pikes' dad at the end of Flame. But I loved how through it all Gigi and Pike stuck together, even when Joe wanted Pike far away from his precious Gigi. Yet, I also adored how Joe came around to the idea of Gigi being in love. Especially with a guy who is exactly like the gorgeous, stubborn and caring Joe. And with the introduction of Pikes brother Austin, and the wild and crazy Tam Tam. This truly was a brilliantly entertaining read that left me wanting more, more of Pike and Gigi, more of the Gallos and definitely more of Tam Tam. So, I'll be counting down the days until Wildlife is released and would definitely recommend Burn and Flame to others.

Great follow up and hot as.....!
I wasn't sure how the follow up was going to be as good as the first but it is!. The action ,humour and hotness is there in bundles and it's so so good. The story just keeps you wanting to know more and keeps you locked to the pages. Now I need to not only read the rest of this series but the originals too.
