Tommee Tippee 2-in-1 Portable Penguin Nursery Night light with Portable Egg Light, Adjustable Brightness, USB-Powered

This light is so nice we have bought it twice. Originally we bought it for our granddaughter’s room. The penguin shape is really sweet and it gives off a nice soft light. The egg part can be taken out and held separately. My daughter found the egg part useful in the middle of the night so that she could see without putting on a big light. Our granddaughter likes holding the egg so she can look at books before sleeping. I then bought a cheap nightlight for our house but it didn’t stay on all night and she got upset so I’ve bought another one for our house. Really nice product.

So useful to have for those nighttime feeds. The light has three adjustable modes, is small but powerful and quite handy to have, whether you need it for nappy changes or even to sneak in some reading without disturbing the baby or your partner. Especially useful for someone like me who can’t see without their glasses. The light is bright enough that I can make head or tail or what’s going on without having to scramble for my glasses which almost always get lost in the panic that follows the newborn cry at 3 in the morning! And it’ll be great to have once baby is older and wants a night light!

Me and my husband are happy with this item since it gives us a good amount of lighting whenever we need to see our newborn or change her nappy without waking up our son. The egg can also be brought everywhere which is very convenient.

Really good product, variable light output to get what you need and the removable "egg" is great to keep the kid entertained while you change a nappy etc. We now have two one in each kids room.

Very easy to install, and one of the few mains powered night lights on a cable I could find. Most others are solely rechargable.This was a problem with our old night light as the charge ran out every night, leaving my daughter in the dark when she woke, which then woke everyone else up when she yelled out.The removable egg is a bonus - it's so cool. Has about 8-10 of battery life itself, but constantly recharges when on the base. You can vary the brightness on it by pressing the top of the egg too - I didnt see this noted anywhere! That said, I didn't read the instructions at all.Only downside is the rubberised material. Obviously great that it is all squishy, so less harm to tiny hands when playing with the light. But it does get dusty and pick up dirt off the floor - more affecting the egg as it can be easily removed and played with. But only a v minor down side, and fixed with a wet wipe in seconds.Otherwise super happy with it!

We’ve had this nightlight for a little over a year and use it every night. It is very cute. It comes with a USB charger so you will need a plug head if you plan on plugging into the mains. On receiving the nightlight in the first instance I assumed it was broken, - and I didn’t think the instructions were very clear. It was only after faffing round with it that I realised how it works, and it didn’t work as I thought: When the nightlight is plugged in and charging, ONLY the penguin will light up. The brightness can be altered using the wheel at the back of the penguin. Whilst the penguin is charging, the egg will only light up if it is charged and separated from the penguin. - And it will only light up ON the penguin if the penguin is not charging. Once I figured that out, everything was good! The small light inside the egg means it needs charging. It should be placed on the penguin and put on to charge. Charging is a bit hit-and-miss, as sometimes a full charge seems to last a few days, and sometimes not as long. However, altogether very impressed and would recommend.

I am 16 years old, and I have never liked sleeping or going downstairs in the dark. Whether you or your children find the dark frightening at night, when trying to sleep or wander your room or home, I definitely recommend this night light.I have had numerous night lights before purchasing this one, but I have never been fully satisfied. Either they broke within a couple months, weren't customisable enough, were too bright, or too dim. Initially I thought this night light was far too expensive, however, now I can completely understand the price point.The night light has a soft, silicone touch to both the penguin and the egg. Although I am older and perhaps don’t need this material, it is perfect for young children who wish to use this night light. It is very safe as the material does not get hot from being on all night.At the back of the penguin there is a little wheel, located by the charger. This allows you to either brighten or dim the light. I find this so useful as at night I still prefer a dimmer light, but when doing other things I like it to be as bright as possible.The thing that is particularly my favourite, is the egg. It is very portable. Although I was initially worried about it not being bright enough, it sure enough surprised me. It has 3 different brightness levels. Bright, medium, and dim. As soon as you take it off it’s charging base on the penguin, it lights up.I have been using this when I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, or downstairs to get a snack. It disturbs my family far less than an enormously bright phone flashlight going down the corridor.5 stars. Definitely recommend, and best one Ive had yet.

A fantastic product! The separate egg light has a long battery life it hasn’t gone flat once, both the egg and penguin are dimmable, small enough to fit neatly on a bed side table. A great product for a great price 100% recommend.
