The manufactured info says 8.5 change that to 10 in. I wouldn't have cancelled the order.

Bit smaller than I was expecting
The finish and price on this diffuser are perfectly fine, but the actual opening is smaller than I was expecting for 6". That is, when I put it up against the 6" duct flange I was planning on mating it with, the largest ring on the opening is still significantly smaller than the hole, which may have been intentional but seems like it will significantly impact airflow (basically, it's a ~5" hole for a 6" duct). It would probably work okay, but I'm likely to replace it with an 8" of the same brand so I'm not necking down the duct at the outlet.

A little small for a 6" register.
Other registers seemed at least 25% larger, this one was mostly too small, but will probably be ok.

Very pleased
Though this probably isn't what it was designed for, it works well to diffuse space-pak downdraft porthole that was blowing air directly on our bed.

Works well, but not the easiest install
This provided a very nice looking diffuser for the new ceiling in our bathroom, and works well with the butterfly style ceiling damper made by the same company, BUT it was poorly designed for installing the two together because the screw holes did not line up correctly or match the size of the included screws. A little additional tinkering solved the problem, however I think we'll try a different brand next time.

Mes entrées pour l'échangeur d'air étaient en plastique, et malheureusement le temps jes a fait jaunir, impossible de trouver des pièces de remplacement jusqu'au moment ou nous avons trouvé ces diffuseurs sur Amazon, très heureux de notre trouvaille.
