These lights arrived very well packed in a box with protective packing around the glass bulbs, all the bulbs were unbroken and when plugged in all the bulbs lit up instantly. It comes with 3 spare replacement bulbs which are very handy, even though the string of lights will stay lit up even if a bulb fails while it is in use. The bulb sockets have a clip on them to attach to trees or fences or u can hang around your garden on hooks. The bulbs are a nice warm white colour when lit and it provides plenty of light in your garden for using during the evenings or for parties and barbecues. If needed u can attach up to 7 strings together to make a longer length as they just fit together with the connecting ends. It can be plugged in to any mains plug socket and can be used in any weather as its fully waterproof. It is quite pricey but u can get replacement bulbs so will be something that will be long lasting and used a lot in the garden.

I didn’t get a remote with these but that doesn’t matter, I don’t see why I’d need one?In love with these they’re perfect in every way, enough light without being blinding, spaced apart nicely and you connect another batch if needed

We ended up buying 6 sets of these lights and joining them together to light our back garden. The lights are lovely and give a nice relaxing glow to the garden once it's turned dark. My only gripe is the bulbs do tend to go very quickly and already replaced 4 bulbs! You do get some spare bulbs with them but make sure you stock up. When w light goes out it's isolated so only the one light goes out. They also are glass so be very careful where you place them and if you have small children or pets as they do shatter quite easily. Overall we are really pleased with ours and we enjoy sitting in the garden with the lights on in the evening.

This really is poor quality, cheap tat. I rarely send anything back ok Amazon but I wasnt keeping this. Clips are made out of brittle plastic which broke straight away. Bulb casing is flimsy and the overall quality was pound shop level. The clips are also made so they need to be hooked along some sort of string aka each build cannot be directly screwed fastened to a fence panel for example. Theres also a very short lead from the first bulb to the plug meaning I needed 3 extension leads to take it 9m round a patio to a power supply. They intentionally make the power lead far shorter than anyone would rightly need and sell these extensions to rip people off for more money. Buy a better quality light and cut the plug off and use an ip65 joining box to extend the lights as far as you wakt for under £10.I've since bought a better set of lights for the same price and it's like night and day for quality.

Really quick delivery. Look and feel very sturdy given the price I didnt expect them to he so well built. Neatly and very well packaged. Comes with 3 spare bulbs and fuses. Only negative is cable length from 1st bulb to plug is quite short about 1.25m-1.5m. Amazon has asked me to rate the remote control but I didnt receive one so not too sure if this is missing or if one was intended to be supplied. Other than that they look really great and create a nice atmosphere in the garden in the evening.

I bought these for the back garden have wasted money on several sets of battery and solar powered lamps in the past.The bulbs are great, they seem well made, and it is completely hassle free just plugging them into the mains rather than buy solar units that work twice then fizzle out.Several reviewers seemed to have problems with bulbs breaking but I had no issues. I did take care, but the bulbs were bounced along the grass and clunked on the tree branches with no ill effects.What I would suggest is that even though 29ft seems like a decent length, it ends up feeling pretty short in practise. They are supposed to be extendable so I bought what looked like the same range from the same dealer but, as other reviewers have said, the plugs are not compatible.This seems a pretty basic thing for the seller to resolve, by naming or numbering the connectors so that you know to buy another of the "Type 2" sets, for example. But no hassle really - I was able to solder new connectors on and all good.

Love these lights! We bought our first set around 3/4 years ago and wanted to add 2 more sets as they have connectors, unfortunately the new style didn’t fit the older lights however we just used them on the other side of the garden. They look great and are very bright, we are only just replacing the bulbs from the older set!
