Illegal Prayers

This book was recommended by a long term pastor of an amazing church. He stated that this was one of the best books on prayer. I agree and would also recommend it to help anyone to improve their prayer life. Our conversations with Hod through prayers are the most important conversations we can have.

This book was just what I needed to read today on this Day of Atonement. Our family has been fasting and praying and seeking the Lord with all our hearts for our son, Josiah to receive a new heart from Heaven. We adopted him 7 years ago from Bulgaria,when he was six years old. We knew that he had multiple, congenital, inoperable birth defects, most severely affecting his heart and lungs. But he seemed to be in such good health, that we felt no urgency to pray. And since our lives were going along smoothly and we felt quite content, we fell into such a spiritual stupor, filling our time with news, entertainment, shopping, etc., and not yearning at all for intimacy with our Father. But in April, when our son had a serious cardiac issue and was hospitalized for 35 days, this brought us to our knees and we awoke from our spiritual stupor. The desire for our son to be healed, grew into desire to be one with the Lord and to do the works of Jesus, as he said we would do! We have been growing in faith and feeding on the Word of God, and speaking health and life over Josiah every day. This book has opened our eyes to a new dimension of prayer, intimacy, and nerve that we can have with our Father! Deliver Josiah, Lord, from these birth defects! Do not delay! Place within him his new heart and all parts he needs for abundant life!

Oh Lord, thank you for teaching this rebel heart all your ways. I stand before you God unapologetic, fearfully and wonderfully made empowered by YOUR Holy Spirit. I Love you and lift your name on high! Glory and Honor are yours alone! Amen

I loved this book so much, I read it in two days. It was challenging and thought provoking. I highly recommend it.

Interesting read, it gives you a different perspective on different stories from the bible./The parables are relatable to everyday life.

I have so longed to know the basis of King David's boldness before Jehovah GOD. I discovered that it was down to relationship but yet, I felt that there was more than relationship that prompted the Almighty GOD to laud David as a man after His heart.Thank God for Bob Sorge's frank and unabashed explanation of prayer - legally safe and illegally dangerous. Illegal Prayers made a riveting read; essential for those who crave not just answers to prayer, but real intimacy with the ONLY God who answers prayer.

What I like best we’re the testimonies of answered prayers written within the pages of the book.I also loved the new perspective of how to contend in prayer for answers from God.

I highly recommend this book. This is how I have thought prayer should be for years. I have been told that my open prayers were offensive yet I always get my answer. The bible says without faith you can't please God...illegal prayers are true prayers do faith and it pleases the Father to respond to such requests...Press in...Get your Answers!

If you need answers to pray or just want to really study the Scripture on how to pray - this book is for you. Unbelievable Insight on the power of prayer. Loved it! Going to read it again. :)

This is a book of actions. I have read it twice and will get my team to read it. Then do it!
