Following the River: A Vision for Corporate Worship

I like this book because as a worshiper and worship leader I have experienced all kinds of feelings during corporate worship and Bob explained them to me and I thought...OKAY that makes sense. He teaches about the river Ezekiel prophesied about and how to stay in and flow in that river. And not just stopping there but how to let the worshipers take over in their fire and love of God to a new place operating in freedom to prophesy, receive healing, and for non-believers to experience God's tangible presence and leave knowing THAT was God.It was super practical and I feel like I could apply what I learned right away!Thank God for this book!

Great book for to use a study guide. Helpful teaching on the purpose of church worship.

If you want to get out of the "2-fast-3-slow, and a hymn-&-a-hearse" way of "doing worship" at your place of worship, then this is the book for you. It explains the who, what, where and why of worship, and how to get closer to God through it. If you are open to some changes, you won't be disappointed.

This book flows very smoothly, and it has some wonderful insights about corporate worship. I found myself saying, "I never thought of it that way" several times throughout the book. This book is for ANYONE seeking a greater worship experience.

I would thoroughly recommend this book!!! For Christians who want to take worship to another dimension and level, this is such an encouragement. It should be read not just by the Pastor and worship team but also people in the church. We all have a part to play in it. If you want more - read it. Maybe not everyone would like the challenge it gives -but there is more out there than just plodding along in set worship each week.

What a book. I was gifted this book to read for a module i was studying at university. Although i did not use it in my essay my outlook and worship perspective has been sky rocketed due to this insightful book.

A short book, but truly inspiring. Helped me to focus on what worship is in the church, how we go about it, and where we are meant to be going with it. Having read some of his other books, he does know what he is talking about.Susan miller
