Q: Does this Kohler K-923-CP comes with the Kohler Warranty? Why is two different valves offered? How is the water controlled? Do I need to buy faucets

You will need to check with Kohler regarding the warranty. I live in Melbourne Australia and I didn't install a control valve for this spout. I installed a regular tub faucet and have not had a problem as we don't have water pressure problems.

Q: So if I mount this at the end of a tub does the water shoot out enough that it enters the tub itself without accumulating on the flat surface?

Yes but there are water volume and plumbing requirements for this bath filler. In addition there is an optional tray that goes below the wall mounted filler so the drips when you turn it off don't collect below

Q: For those who used a Kohler faucet, what size supply valve did you use? 1/2" or 3/4"

I used a 1/2 inch supply line. Works great!

Q: “Will this work with kohler K-T10185-7-BN trim and K-304-K-NA valve? I want to install the ceiling tub filler and im trying to find compatible parts.

It will work with just about any valve. About valve and trim, I usually buy it as a set. This is to make sure they fit and are compatible. I don't want to buy trim that does not go with the valve.
