Leg Shield Reflective Wristbands - Large Reflective Area - Comfortable, Bright, Lightweight, Neoprene - High Visibility Straps for Running, Cycling, Walking (2 Bands)

I just needed something a little extra that would help me be spotted on my early morning walks at 5am and these reflective wristbands did just the trick. I figured that since my torso isn't moving as much the wristbands would be seen quicker then the sash around me which is also reflective but just didn't seem to get peoples eyes when walking in the dark. Overall, this works well because my arms move as I walk so it will catch the headlights faster, I loved the fit, I am 410lbs and I have large wrists so I was sa little worried that the bands wouldn't fit but they fit perfectly. Night light weight material, made of a very nice soft elastic material that is somewhat waterphobic and shines up nice.

First off, these are by far the brightest reflective anything I've ever bought, and I've bought >20 wrist bands, arm bands, leg bands, vests, .... Photons apparently hate this material: every single photon that hits it immediately turns right around and heads back where it came from. You will be seen when you're wearing these. They're so bright you may be seen from space. :)Second, customer service can't be beat. I ordered both the the wrist bands and the leg bands, but only received the wrist bands. I contacted the vendor, Mark, and he sent the leg bands out within 12 hours of receiving my email. Later I had a problem with the reflective material separating from the neoprene on one one of the wrist bands, and Mark didn't just replace the one that failed, he sent me a whole new pair, and very quickly. So this is a low-risk purchase: if you have any issues, Mark will make it right for you.One thing I'm not fond of is that the hook portion of the hook and loop closure is too long. Unless the band fits perfectly around your wrist, a good sized section of the hook portion will be exposed, and can snag on cyclists' lycra gear. I wish the hook portion was just an inch long. The 3" loop portion would still allow a couple of inches of flexibility re length.Also, I'm not sure why these have both extra long hook and loop closures and are made of stretchy neoprene. Both seem intended to allow the band to fit different diameters of legs + clothing, so I'm not sure why you need both. And the stretchy neoprene makes it much more likely that the relatively delicate reflective material will separate from it, as happened with 1 of the 4 bands I originally purchased. I'd prefer the fabric to not stretch to minimize the risk of failure, and just use the velcro to adjust the length. But since Mark backs up the product if it fails, this is a small deal.Overall, I'm happy with these. I believe they're the brightest reflective bands you can buy, so if you want to be seen, these will do the job.

If I can rate these wristbands 5 stars even though they showed wear and tear after a couple months* (the company makes good on its 3-year guarantee though, no hassle), it's gotta be a pretty nice product - in my opinion at least.First impression, very nice. After 6-months of use, I'm ordering another pair. Very comfy - ask my dog. I tried the yellow kind and dog started hiding when he'd see them come out. I then tried these and dog doesn't object - he can wear these for hours with no chafing. Me too, unlike the yellow kind which chafe bare skin. These are human-size wrist bands, so they're a little big for dog legs, but they do ok on big dogs, and they’re fine for small human wrists. If you need them to go over heavy foul weather gear, you might want the longer ankle bands.When the bands get wet, the reflective properties get a little patchy, but that’s the case with any reflective fabric. These bands have enough reflective area that they still do the job, even wet.These are by far the nicest wrist bands I've tried.*Leg Shield was super quick to respond when the reflective layer started to delaminate in a few places (maybe due to the constant high humidity in Hawaii). They were very conscientious about supporting their product - you couldn't ask for better, or more personalized, customer support.

I run and walk at night and these wrist bands are a perfect fit for my small wrists. I also purchase their reflective ankle bands and they go great with the wrist bands for nighttime visibility. As you can see from the pictures I posted, they're very reflective in the dark. I've got two other reflective waist belts next to it for comparison. What I like about these ankle and wrist bands is that the reflective strip is wide which occupies the majority of the band. Also, I do like the black color in combination with the reflective strip. The neoprene on the inside is also comfortable and soft. I'd definitely recommend getting these bands for your safety.

An easy way to add reflectivity while walking at night. Wrist...ankle...

I picked these up for added visibility while riding my bicycle among cars. In particular I wanted my wrists visible for hand signaling turns.The wristbands are well-made, and use quality materials from what I can tell. The reflectivity is extremely effective.My only slight gripe is the length. For wristbands, they are fine when used without clothing. But when using over my snug-fitting cycling winter jacket (not to mention layers on those colder days), the fit is barely there.That said, I can get them attached over jackets; but I'm a slim dude. More robust fellows might want to measure the length of these to make sure they will fit.The hook-and-loop areas extend right to the edges, so as long as you can get a small area to overlap you'll be good.Pleased with the purchase so far, and they appear to be well-made and I expect them to last. I also picked up a set of the ankle straps.
