How long does it take to kill rats

I didnt have rats but the mice were gone 2 days after I heard them eating it. It may take a while to get them to eat it. It needs to be in a place they visit and needs to be there long enough for them to get use to it. Rats may take longer than mice bcz mice are more adventurous. Hope this helps

Can I put some peanut butter in the tray to help attract the rats to it?

We highly suggest not using peanut butter. Due to the patented process any other intake besides the pellets could interfere with the desired outcome.

Don't know, never got it wet. The pests slowly disappeared, don't know how it works except that dogs won't eat it. Good luck.
