Not what I expected for $50. Definitely not worth even half that much. Good concept but very very bad implementation. Flimsy plastic with loose fitting lid. Trash bags are nearly impossible to keep on the provided rim. I super glued clothes pins to hold bags in place. A simple supporting ridge to hold the rim in place would have solved the problem. I would not recommend buying this product.

...the quality should be much higher or the price much lower. The plastic is thin and kind of flimsy. The sides of the bin are flaring out a bit in the middle on one side, which means the base does not support the lid in that area. The lid hasn't fallen through yet, but it feels like it will. .This should be a $15 waste bin as is, or it should be upgraded to a thicker and stiffer plastic.

they are strangely few contemporary style modern trash cans available. this 1 is a good example of good design and space-saving under desk application. My only complaint is the bag holder is at a weird angle inside the can and it's quite difficult to get it to stay up. I had to paste in a bunch of rubber bumpers inside to catch the bag holder from falling down.

I only received the bottom, no lid, no liner ring.I tried calling the number listed as the manufacturer and its not even their number

This Yamazaki "Tower Side Table and Trash Can" fits beautifully between my sofa and my bookcase/storage cabinet, where no other side table would. I found it easy to line it with a grocery-trashbag and to put it together. It supports a 2-lb tabletop reading lamp and that leaves just enough space to charge my 5.5" x 8" tablet. Great design, lightweight, attractive and functional.

Love that trash can't fall into an open bin and that it doesn't LOOK like a trash can. LOVE the top for placing cups and glasses. BUT as other reviewers have pointed out, the pegs for the bag holder are woefully insufficient. I put a couple of command hooks to provide more resting space for the bag frame and this worked fine. It looks good but isn't the quality I usually asscociate with this brand as it is a bit lightweight. That being said the price point isn't super high either. 4 stars because of looks, size, design idea, 1 star off for design failure.

Best garbage pail for bedroom. Useful with top for two reasons. Stuff can’t easily fall into it from dresser of top. Also, during winter allergy and sinus issues can put tissue box on top and have garbage pail very handy to put under it.

Looks great , but top lid falls in easily and it’s hard to find a bag that fits the inner rim that holds the bag up inside (which also falls in easily ) doesn’t hold much. Was hoping for a more sturdy bin.

Yamazaki products are always hit and miss and this is a miss. They also always seem to cost more than they're worth and in this case, it's really not worth it for this unstable plastic product. It's not sturdy at all. Cool idea but ultimately disappointing.

lid came in bent so I am slowly getting it to fit better by putting heavy books on both ends.. table would be a bit better if just two to three inches taller.....

きっちり蓋が閉まらず、浮いてしまいます。サイドテーブルという商品コンセプトを考えても最悪な欠点です。ゴミの投入口がある前側をしっかり閉めると後ろ側が浮いてきて、後ろ側を閉めると前側が浮いてしまいます。

他の方が言ってる通りガタガタしてます。蓋がうまくはまりません。ゴミ袋の取り替えも面倒ですね

シンプルかつオシャレで悪目立ちせず気に入ってます。ただ意外と大きく、サイズが合うナイロン袋があまりありません。一般的にスーパーで貰う袋だとやや小さく、一方で小さめのゴミ袋を買うと大きすぎます。中途半端な大きさで難しいです。
