Great item, just be careful hanging a mic over the top. Make sure you have enough length to where you can get your mic in front of the walls so you use it to block the bad frequencies as best as possible

The q mic is a great addition to my in home studio. There is a sound difference when you used. It is also easy to install to the mic stand. The company was also easy to contact,and helped my buy explaining how to install it.

In my never ending search to make my voice sound better I find myself getting duped by these vocal booth products every now and again. Luckily I borrowed this one from my friend and I see why he wasn't in a hurry to get it back. I noticed no change or difference in how I sounded. I guess I expected too much by assuming something calling itself a vocal booth would sound like one. It's too bad I did like how you could set the mic up in different ways and adjust it but it doesn't help when it doesn't work as advertised.

wasn't as easy to set up as i would have liked but it work overall fine. makes the sound of my music better so cant say anything bad about the product

Great addition to our studio

This vocal booth does exactly what it is supposed to do. It eliminates reflections from the front and sides, giving you a more acoustically dry sound that is better for audio recording. If you are recording in a room with hard floors, flat ceilings, and naked walls, you will still want to throw down some moving blankets and make sure there isn't a flat wall right behind your back. This booth doesn't excuse you from knowing things about room treatment, mic placement and selecting the right microphone. Like many products, it's only as good as it's user. Also note that it is not going to improve the quality of your voice. Only vocal training can do that. And it will not compensate for a crappy microphone. I use mine with a Shure SM58 for vocals including singing and voiceover work. It kills all the near-field reflections I need it to kill, leaving me with a nice dead sound. If you know what you're doing, you'll be happy with this product.
