Dexter Outdoors 4" oyster Boston pattern knife

This is the best oyster knife that I ever had

I open oysters like a pro now. Better than ANY other oyster knife I have owned and I've owned many. The point of this knife easily pops the hinge with very little effort.

I shuck 750-1500 oysters a day and use one of two knives, the Dexter Russell 4" Galveston or the S120. The only problem this knife has is that the blade won't hold up to larger, thicker shells. If you are shucking gulf oysters, I suggest the Galveston. Still, it's an excellent knife.

worked as well as any other knives but not hugely different. easy grip. some response to wetstone sharpening but not what expected. good price. i am not very experienced in shucking so take this all with a grain. ultimate conclusion is that shucker is far more important than knife. sell me one for same price.
