I was going to do an oil change on my IR 2475n7 which is a larger 7.5hp, 80 gal, 230v unit. The oil spec calls for IR select which is a premium synthetic designed for compressors. My compressor was expensive so I am not going to cut corners with cheaper oil.If you look on AZ or other sources a single quart of this oil is close to 40 dollars. This kit gives you 4 quarts for considerably less $$$per unit . The air filters are too small for my compressor, but I can give those away and still save money versus buying just the oil.Treat your compressor right by using this product. Save some $$$ by purchasing it in kit form.

Comparatively this is much cheaper than going to any of the local stores and purchasing just the oil. I bought this product originally at Northern tool and to buy the equivalent was almost twice as much for standard oil not the better synthetic. I live in southern Florida and use this compressor for sandblasting, this keeps the compressor noticeably cooler with less debris in it when I do change the oil. My oil changes now only have to be done twice a year instead of every other month which is also a very nice benefit. I went ahead and purchased an extra 5 quart oil jug as well. My Ingersoll Rand compressors take just under 2 qt so you don't want to be left with not enough to fill the reservoir. One more thing is that you have to remember to knock out the air filter occasionally because I go so long in between oil changes now I don't just do it when I change the oil.

A little spendy for a few jugs of oil and a couple of air filters but exactly what I needed to keep the compressor going. The IR 80-gallon I have is a work-horse and just keeps on ticking.I wish the kit contained 2 fewer oil jugs and 2 additional air filters but it's still worth buying and getting this kit so you don't have to worry about it.

I think the oil will be ok. I don't know because I haven't had it in my compressor very long. It was rather expensive. When the package arrived one of the containers was leaking. The seal had been removed and there was oil all through the package.

The box looked perfect, but 3 of the 4 bottles of oil had leaked. The bottles themselves looked perfect but there was about a cup of oil in each plastic bag. It was a huge mess.

This will keep my compressor working for years to come. Replacing the filters is huge in a dusty environment.
