There's a bar that attaches on one end of the base which the toggle wheel mechanism mounts to. This bar has three threaded holes that accept hex bolts that are used attach the toggle mechanism. Two of the three holes were mis threaded. It was impossible to get the bolts started and stripped two of the bolts.Luckily I have a tap and die set and was able to re-thread the bolts and holes allowing me to get them attached. But, for as much as this kit cost, I was sorely disappointed in finding something shoddy like this. I expected better ... or at least normal i.e. everything assembles as it should.The kit is solid otherwise and now that the toggle wheel is attached works fine.

Easy to install, and works perfectly!

The bracket that the foot operated caster attaches to has no rubber feet. These are a needed both to protect flooring from scratches from the metal bracket and to provide enough friction that the machine doesn't move when stationary. As provided, it's easy for the bandsaw to slide around. Attempts to add rubber pads myself were challenging as the lift height of the foot lever is so minimal that just adding a few mm of rubber removes all clearance for rolling. This plus the flex of the bracket meant I had to modify their design to make what should have been designed in from the start work. On top of that, the threads for the bolted parts were not tapped well and I had to re-tap these. For the price and amount of rework, I felt like I could have just built kit this myself from scratch and done better.

Simply step on the foot pedal to raise the tool so you can roll it anywhere. Same thing to lower and stabilize. You will need the lower plate for the Rikon 10-324tg, which is sold separately and seems to be in short supply

What happened to the tow bar these had previously? With this design I would have to push saw by the table which is totally unacceptable after spending so much time squaring and leveling. The front wheel does not lift the saw high enough and has trouble swiveling. It is build with good quality materials but the design of the front mechanism is terrible.

Excellent choice for adding mobility to your Rikon 10-326 Band Saw. The foot pedal is very easy to engage and moving the band saw is very easy. Many people complain that the storage door will not open completely because it bumps into the rear caster. This is due partly to a misprint in the assembly instructions. When assembled with the third caster on the blade side of the unit, it opens almost all the way.

The people who complain about the door not opening have installed the device backwards. If you put the axel with wheels on the door opening side it is quite easy to open the door fully. You just need to lift the door slightly when opening to clear the wheels.The problem I found was the welds on the steel bracket were too thick for the bracket threaded holes to match the bolts. I took about 3 hours while watching TV to hand file the welds closer to flush so the the bracket would fit properly under the corners of the saw. After I got it mounted I am quite satisficed with the operation of the device. It works quite well. I would have given 5 stars if the bracket would fit without filing some of the excess weld off...Please excuse the sawdust. I need to pickup my shopvac from someone I lent it to.
