Barrister and Mann Lavanille Aftershave

I got the B&M Lavanille shaving soap a while back along with several other soaps to try out. Off the bat, I loved the shaving performance of the soap, but I wasn’t sure about the scent at first, which is definitely a manly, earthy scent, which is probably not for everyone. It grew on me (my wife as well) and is now my favorite go to soap. This aftershave really complements the soap nicely. I’d give the soap a shot first, and if you like that, you’ll like the aftershave as well.

This after shave has the most fresh, cleanest and best smell of any aftershave that I have ever used.There is a mild burn an tightening after shaving. However, my dislike about this aftershave is thelongevity. It smells so good when you put in on and 10 minutes or less, there is NOT a trace of thescent left. I will NOT buy this aftershave again, because of this. Be nice if an aftershave with thisscent could be made that would last an hour or so...

I can't say enough good things about this stuff. It smells great, very clean and fresh. It feels indescribably good after a good shave; there's a touch of menthol but it isn't overpowering. The bottle itself is pretty cool too but it's what's inside that really blew my mind. Great stuff.

Cloves with a tiny touch of bay rum. Highly overrated, closer to perfume than men's aftershave. To avoid strange men, I would wear this only when in company with my wife.Not to be confused with Dominica Bay Rum or St. Lucia Bay Rum, both sadly out of business.

I expected a more traditional take on "Seville"...It is Lemony...I like it, don't get me wrong...It's summer in a bottle..Just not the Seville I expected.

Smells like my grandpa...Edited: I forgot to mention that the feel on the skin is very good and makes your face super smooth after the shave. Also, I gave it to my gf's father who is 60+ y.o and he loves it and its scent.

This is what the old time Italian barbers used when I was growing up. It brings back memories absolutely great. Fresh, manly, old school. Bracing.

Nice and clean scent. Has a light powdery scent. Pairs nicely with the soap and any cologne really
