Incredibly useful tool.
Fads are junk. If you have come to understand this already, or if this concept speaks to you after seeing the hyped products time and time again, then you are finally ready for Tom Holland's approach. No more garbage, no more bull. Life isn't photoshopped.Tom's fabulous, NO-NONSENSE podcast "Fitness Disrupted" has been an obsessive listen for me. I found myself grabbing pen and paper and re-listening to episodes where he outlined an actual workout. This book does it for you. A quick flip reference whenever you have a few minutes to get a little done. As Tom likes to say, "every workout matters... stop the yeah but's...'but I only did'... every minute matters".Some weeks, you only may only be able to do a few five-minute workouts. Some, you can do more. Sometimes you grab some weights while you catch up on DVR.After following his guidance for around a year, I am truly stronger than I have ever been. I purchased this book not just because it would be handy, but because I truly believe that our society NEEDS messengers like Tom. I want to support his work. Thank you, Tom, for all that you do, and how you do it. I truly look forward to every new podcast episode.

My Favorite Exercise Book
I started listening to Tom Holland’s podcast, Fitness Disrupted, almost 3 years ago and liked his advice so much that I pre-ordered this book. I would have liked the micro-workouts even if we were not immersed in a pandemic, but working from home makes them even better. When I need a break from sitting, I spend 5 or 10 minutes doing a mini workout. Sometimes it’s dumbbells, sometimes it’s lower body, sometimes it's core. On my lunch break I go for a walk around the neighborhood. This has helped me improve my fitness level with a minimal time commitment.I’ve never been a very athletic person, and I always felt like my genetics were holding me back. I will forever be grateful for this book getting me to snap out of that mode of thinking and to tackle a more ambitious workout plan. I’ve been going for walks daily, and have taken up running too. I doubt that I’ll ever run a marathon, but I did a 5K recently, and think I might work up to a 10K.

A full body workout plan that gets results
This book is for all fitness levels. It’s a total fitness plan. There are multiple workouts for strength training, cardio, and flexibility. All workouts have beginner, intermediate, and advanced routines that can be modified and adapted for an endless variety of workouts. You won’t get bored here. I use one or two workouts when I don’t have much time (5 or 10 minutes), but when I have more time I’ll do four or six workouts back to back. There are sample weeks of training included, so you’ll get good examples for how you can mix-and-match all the workouts together throughout the week to get great results. It will work your full body. For the strength workouts you want to have a pair of dumbbells; I use the adjustable dumbbells from bowflex and they work great. I’ve used the author’s fitness philosophy for my workouts since last year and I can definitely say it works. I feel better than I have in years. I have more energy, I look better, and all those little aches and pains of aging are gone. I highly recommend this book.

Interesting and informative
One weird question though, why does he say he is writing about his client John in the introduction, then spend the whole first chapter writing about Bill? 😆

Everyone needs to read this
His approach and the research break it down in a way that just makes sense, makes you feel good, and that we all can do this. A little bit— a lot…. Excessive moderation…. Making your whole day apart of the movement so you don’t ever have to say I don’t have the time.. 🔥🔥🔥.So many things just click in your head like “yeah!” My dad is a tri-athlete and even I tell him little things I read in the book that he didn’t know about fitness!Love the success stories, easy read, and the perfect approach for tackling consistent fitness once and for all!

The Only Book on Exercise you Need!
I purchased this book in January after finding Tom's podcast. Since then I have read it front to back a couple of time and referred to parts of it multiple times. I have highlighted many parts and dog-eared a few pages. This book contains the most common sense science-based approach to exercise you can find. Following the plan in this book has improved my fitness, body composition and allowed me to do it all without extremes which have lead me to injuries in the past. It contains all the advice you need to get the results you want, just add the effort!

Great 5 minute workouts
It might actually be an overly simple book, but for anyone either short on time or new to working out, or maybe even someone who gets bored and wants to try a couple new routines, it's great. Pretty good 5 minute workouts based on whatever body part you're looking to work. Also a written and picture description of each exercise which is helpful even for those who know them but need reminders on form

Great book with workouts and advice that work!
I have followed these workouts daily for almost a month now and have seen great results. Will be continuing these 5-6 days a week. Author explains very well what you can do in 15-20 min a day to improve yourself. Perfect for busy people that want to get a solid workout in at home without a gym. Just buy it and stop procrastinating like I did. Well worth the price.

I recommend it to my clients
This is a very useful book for anyone interested in building more exercise and movement into their life. It’s written and structured in a clear way. I read it cover to cover but it could also just be used as a “how should I do that?” reference.

Good exercise book
I have been following his podcast and thought I would check out his book. It contains a lot of easy to follow information and demonstrates the exercises in relatively easy to follow page form by the two instructors. This book has a lot of common sense, especially for beginners or those wanting to start or maintain an exercise program
