Very poor quality!
Terribly disappointed in the quality of these. I have another pair of Worishofers purchased over a year ago that are still going strong, so I took the comments about the quality of these with a grain of salt. Huge mistake! After just TWO wearings, the back of the heel has worn down and cork is beginning to crumble from the wedge. I don't know how this could possibly be fixed, or what I could have done differently. In addition, though these are the same size as my older pair, length-wise they are over half an inch shorter. They also seem cheaper than my old ones, with a plastic-y feel -- I know that they are supposed to be leather but they are making my feet feel sweaty in a way the older ones do not. Again, so disappointed and the only good thing I can say about them is that they were cute, the first day I got them...

Comfy and quirky but too short
I love these comfy and sort of quirky "old lady sandals" BUT my usual size which is 7.5 to 8 was a little short. I ordered the 38 which I believe is a 7.5 to 8 U.S. I felt if I sized up to the 39 the length would probably be better, but the entire shoe would probably come flying off my feet as soon as I started walking, even with the straps on the tightest setting. I guess they're a little wide and a little short in length so they aren't a great fit for my feet.

Comfortable As Heck, But Wear Out Fast
These shoes are so comfortable. It's like walking on cork clouds. And since comfort shoes are all the rage now in fashion you can pull them off with just about anything and where them anywhere and people will think you're hip and sensible. The downside... they stretch out rather easily and thus the heel strap slips off your heel and starts to feel more like a flip flop than a sandal. Also the peep toe in the front can be a rather awkward cut out. You'll essentially see just a toe or two popping out and it's not exactly the cutest look, especially if your second toe is equal to or longer than your big toe. Also the materials are not super sturdy. These sandals will last you a season, maybe two if you're quite careful with them and don't wear them everyday. Otherwise the sole will wear down and they'll get dirty very quickly.

second pair of worishofer 562 slingbacks
i love these worishofers, and this is my second pair, but the quality of the upper is really not what i would prefer.the good: the footbed is wonderfully comfortable and i can walk for 20-45 minutes in the city in these with no issues at all. there is never any rubbing or soreness. i have a high arch and high instep, and these feel very comfortable all around. i can't mess around with blistering and soreness in the summer when it is already so sticky and my feet get swollen from the heat, and these are wonderful in that regard.the problem: the upper. i have had these shoes for a month, and yes i like to wear them frequently, but i have been wearing them only in good weather and maybe 3 times a week. the upper is a thin plastic-y leatherette lined in some kind of interfacing that rubs off with the tiniest bit of perspiration, so now the thin leatherette is completely unlined in the front part of the shoe. this happened with my first pair, knew it would happen with the second pair, but i am still annoyed.why i bought them again: i love these shoes because i like to walk around the city in cute footwear that is not going to damage my feet, but if amazon didn't offer such a good price on them, i wouldn't buy them again.color: the first pair i had was in red, which was lovely, but it has rubbed off and stained my feet for a few days in the rain. the second pair i've bought was in black, and i have not worn them in the rain.durability of cork: i wore the first pair until the heel was essentially shaved off over time. the cork is delicate and will be abraded off, but it is lightweight and springy and i think that outweighs the delicacy. you have to be aware of its delicate nature, but aside from not letting younger cousins give you "flat tires," i haven't had any problem out of the ordinary with the heels of these shoes.

Nice shoe
I purchased this slingback in hopes that the sole would be as amazingly comfortable and cushiony as the Worishofer "May" sandal. It was not, but it's still a nice, comfortable shoe. It has a sort of toe grip "bump" that is just a tad too noticeable in my opinion, and the leather seems a little thinner than for the "May," but the style is quite attractive...not too sporty, not too dressy. I wear a U.S. 9-½, and for both Worishofer styles the 40 was too short, but the 41 fit perfectly (even though it says the 41 is an 11).

Started out great, but went downhill fast!
These fit great, and looked great, for about a week. Then they stretched waaaaaay out and the cork started separating from the foot bed. I've had these shoes for under 3 weeks and they are now unwearable. Pretty bummed, as they are cute and were comfortable. Also, lesson learned, don't go and buy two more pairs of shoes based on how a shoe fits after a day! I purchased two other different styles of Worishofer's, and both of them have also stretched to the point of being unwearable. I'd quite frankly be ok with this if they were $20 shoes, but certainly not for shoes that retail upwards of $70!

Very comfortable shoe.
I own two pairs of Worishofer and needed another for work. These are very light and comfortable. You can adjust the straps (both) and tailor the show to your specific size. I did notice that with these shoes, the material is a bit softer, so after wearing the shoes for a day, they felt a bit loose. So I tightened the straps and now they're perfect. They're light enough that I can walk around in them all day and not worry about my back or feet hurting at the end of the day. My only concern is that they won't last as long as the other pairs that I own. I wanted these to be my daily shoe for work, but I think come November (about three month mark) I might need to find a new pair. These are a bit expensive, but worth the comfort and compliments.
