ECBC Lance Daypack Travel Backpack, with 17” Laptop Sleeve, TSA FastPass, Black

I have not really ever used a backpack as a business case before so I did a bunch of research on backpacks. Read reviews, watched reviews, looked at websites, probably more than I ever thought possible on backpacks. I finally settled on this one and am very happy I did. It holds a ton of stuff, it has lots of various sized pockets and compartments. One of the main things I needed was space to carry a 17" USB powered monitor as well as a laptop and other portable office needs. I does a great job of protecting everything, is comfortable to wear even when fully loaded. The only feature I wish it had was some way yo tuck in the straps. The waist straps I was able to but the adjustments on the shoulder straps drag on the ground when I hook it onto my suitcase. It is a great bonus for the airport folks though as it seems to collect all the dust bunnies and saves them some sweeping :) A minor issue though, overall a great bag and I would highly recommend it.

I've been looking for the kind of backpack that you wouldn't mind wearing in a professional setting, the beach, or out on vacation in the elements. This is it and then some. It's water resistant, the laptop padding is great, and you can just feel how durable the backpack is. The best stuff is the kind that you throw around and never worry about because you're sure it's going to perform. This is it. You sling this around, throw it around, and move on with your life with no worries.The only backpacks that come close to this run you upwards of $300. The volume is very accessible, the pockets are easily accessible, and the zippers are smooth. It really doesn't get any better than this. You really won't find anything that'll match the specs and design on this.

Just received my ECBC Lance Daypack and so far I am very happy with the purchase. The problem I face with online backpack purchases is I am never sure my MONSTER laptop is going to fit. It fits in this backpack, snug and secure. There is also plenty of room for all of my other goodies! The materials and workmanship inspire confidence that it will hold up to business travel and daily use. It is a bit on the pricey side, but you do get what you pay for.

- Great, great outside organizing pocket allows for all sorts of stuff to be put in it- Lots of mesh pockets everywhere- Light interior lets you see inside the bag easily- Clever side-strap mechanism make sure the straps are only visible when you need them, and comfortably tucked away otherwise- Side water bottle pockets are deep enough to hold the tallest bottles and zip up when not in use to keep them out of the way and invisible- Backpacks aren't very stylish in general, but this design is relatively stylish and professional looking for a backpack

Use this to transport my 15" macbook tablet and other devices. It is very large and can fit a lot of stuff. I love the glasses case and the zip up water bottle holders on the side of the backpack. I use this every time I fly, about twice a month and it makes going through security a breeze. The TSA guy is yelling to pull your laptops out of their case and you unzip the back lie it flat and it rolls right through. You have to enjoy the small things in life!

This thing is built like a tank, and will last years. It is well thought out, a little nerdy but nice looking. It is perfect for a one bag overnight, or as a backpack for day trips, but best as a computer/work backpack. The only quibble is the TSA friendly feature means it is too easy for the computer panel to open too far and flop over. And it is BIG. But otherwise, excellent.

cannot get it to stand up which in an earlier review was a major strength

great backpack, feels very durable. lots of nice pockets with very smooth zippers. Even fits my 5yr old 17" sony laptop. I wish there was a way to store the waist straps when not in use.
