You'll probably need to modify the neck and clips, but otherwise it does the job
There were a few reviews about the tangs being too short or the neck too small (I don't recall exactly as that was a few days ago and I'm not looking at them right now), but I figured they were probably doing something wrong. Nope. I've maintained my pool myself for 15 years and until the first 2 minutes of using this brush, I've never had any device (net, skimmer, brush, etc.) just pop right off and fall to the bottom of the pool (deep end of course). I saw it was kind of a loose fit in the pole, but wow. The tangs are too short (i.e., they don't really stick out of the receiving holes on the pole very far) and the neck is too small. It rattles around inside the pole. I'll make some modifications to it myself and it will work when I get done with it. But how do you get the neck dimensions so wrong? Otherwise, it appears to be an okay heavy duty pool brush and when I can keep it in the pole, it does a good job on the yellow mustard algae that thought it was going to get missed again by my nylon brush.

Disappointed:
Seems much more sturdy than the ones you would find at the big box stores. Although most likely not a design flaw it does tend to drag along the bottom of the pool quite a bit but may be due to the fact I have a pebble coat pool. Very happy with this brush so far seems to get algae and dirt no problem usually in the first pass. It also seems to be made more out of metal than plastic which to me is a good thing... Update: brush broke after the third or fourth use. Also the Stainless steel bristles were coming off and getting stuck in my kids feet causing injuries

Get the Poolmaster instead
I bought a Poolmaster brush in 2013. It lasted 8 years - until the end of 2020 - and the wire bristles were starting to break down, then I bought this one to replace it in March of 2021. This brush started coming apart around the end of 2022, so it didn't even make it 2 years. The bristles are attached into the head in small tufts, and they're popping out of place. Also, there are not nearly as many bristles in it as the Poolmaster and therefore it's not as stiff, which does not work that well when you're brushing through 9 feet of water at the bottom of the pool. I also bought the 10-inch Poolmaster brush in 2013. It gets a bit less use than the larger one, and I'm replacing it now - lasted 10 years.

Excellent brush, except in corners.
I was a little late opening the pool this year and algae had already started to grow on the gunite surfaces. This brush took care of it with easily. The metal bristles work well for scrubbing the algae off- a lot better than the rubber scrubbers on my robot which were ineffective. The build quality on this brush is good. Hopefully it lasts a long time. I removed 1 star because the angle of the bristles on the sides is not great enough to effectively get into corners and edges.

Beware, Sturdy but bristles falling out
We bought this because we had stubborn algae that was not coming off with a nylon brush. This seemed like a better product as it’s quite sturdy. I think it was helping but does require some effort. However after just over a month (too late to return it now) we started finding metal pieces from the brush in our filter basket. Considering we got this late May and have a pool guy who only comes once a week, the brush has only been used 4-5 times. Looking closely at the brush head, entire bristle segments have fallen out. The bristles are sharp and I consider it a safety issue as I’d hate for anyone to step on one. I’d like to return this, but just missed the return window.

Help keeping the scaling down
We had a new pool put in and the builder didn't add calcium during the start up period. This resulted in the calcium being sucked out from the plaster and scaling the pool. We never knew what the actual pool finish was supposed to look like until we dropped the PH a ton and started using this brush. Was really helpful in renewing the finish :). We are still going to get a true acid wash done, but this brush made a world of difference in the areas we tested in!

Great steel bristle pool brush!
Brush is exactly as described. Heavy duty steel bristles. Unfortunately, I was looking for a nylon bristle brush, and didn’t read the description well enough. If I were in the market for a steel pool brush, this is the one I would get. It arrived quickly, and was packaged well. I have nothing bad to say about the product or the seller, both are top notch. Now if I could only work on my reading comprehension, I’d Be all set :-)

HEAVY DUTY BRUSH
This Milliard stainless steel pool brush is definitely a heavy duty item and a good value. It removed the algae from the walls of my pool that a nylon brush would not. It also seemed to remove some marcite, which was captured in my filter (which may or may not be good, but it definitely lightened up a rust stain). I had no problems with the brush separating from the pole.
