Cheap Chinese garbage. Do not buy.
Even when these were priced at $20, they were still trash. I purchased several and what I got were different models which couldn’t use the same app. When they work, the video quality is fine but you will have to switch between different apps to view the different cameras. They state it comes with computer software so you can monitor multiple cameras and use your HDD as a DVR. However, the software is utter garbage. It’s in Chinese and, even if you know how to read it, it doesn’t work properly. These cameras look like they have potential but they are an absolute waste of money.

Finally, A Camera I Can View Via WiFi via My Phone, iPod, or iPad
This is my second camera of this kind that I've had the pleasure of owning, and I'm crazy about this technology. The concept is simple: you run the camera off your wireless network at home, then view and use the camera (this one has movement and audio) via your phone, iPod touch, or iPad. This is a great idea and a super powerful technology, as it means that you can check up on your house or business (anywhere you have a wifi connection) from anywhere in the world.Setting it up is pretty easy: plug in the camera, download the app from the app store (it's easy to find), configure the app by entering your wifi network and password along with the camera's ID (found on a sticker under the device), then it's good to go.After joking with everyone around my house that this would be a surveillance tool for checking up on silly things like bedtimes, internet use, and midnight snacks, these are the actual uses I've found for this camera ... just in the first week of owning it!- first I used it to see what kind of animal has been digging under my bike shed; it was a groundhog and I quickly trapped it for relocation- then I placed the camera in my driveway to try to find out who's been breaking into my car to steal quarters; I didn't find the thief quite yet, but I did learn that our neighbors sometimes use our trashcans when we're not looking- I then placed the camera at my front door so I could see who was dropping off fast food fliers; it turns out that the same delivery guy drops off fliers for various restaurants in our areaAs you can tell, I still haven't found a place to permanently mount this camera, but you should know that there are various mounts included in the kit. I also didn't use the audio much, except for some joking around, but it does have two-way audio capability -- which is pretty cool.=================Note that I received this camera as part of a promotional offer, having stipulated to the seller that I would only review it if I had absolute freedom to say what I want. The camera is great, so I'm not deducting any stars.

Has been working fine for 3 years
Works fine for monitoring my dogs. Picture quality through the app isn't the best. The iztouch app is updated and seems to work a bit better now than when I bought the camera in 2015. It supports the ONVIF protocol so you can add it into other camera software if you already have security software running at your location. ONVIF viewer for desktop works great and will show you the full res picture. I doubt it's very secure but I'm not too worried about it. It's been running every day since 2015 and has been working fine.

Try again if you think it's broke!
I was ready to hate this product after it stopped working after about three months. I put it in the cabinet and almost threw it away. Yesterday I got online and looked up the app to reinstall on my phone (I had deleted it all) and how to sync it again. I pushed the reset button several times (not sure which worked - but I pushed it several times in a row and also held it down). I then put it again onto the ethernet, got it to work there, then took off the cord and replugged it into the outlet in the room I wanted. It was completely dark and I was able to see my nephew sleeping. I showed my husband (we both had written this off), and we were both impressed with what we could see and hear remotely from wifi on my phone. :) Reset and redo may save it!

Should of taken the 1 star reviews serious
This has to be a gimmick of some kind, I'm no tinfoil hat person but the cam comes with instructions to download an APP that doesn't exist, says no special characters in your network password will work (Red flag on that for network intrusion). And you have to plug it into your router to begin setup and connect wifi... Uhhhh that's another red flag, wifi products connect to wifi through their app... You connect the app to the device and then tell the device which wireless network it is assigned to via the app... Hopefully my network didn't just become compromised as I have a home office setup and this was just supposed to be for keeping an eye on my newborn.Don't buy it, I would give it zero stars if I could.

This is so cool! I have only had it for about a week, so I hope it holds up! I bought this to keep an eye on my dog. She sometimes likes to get into a little trouble, so I really like the feature where you can hold down the button and talk. If she starts to do something bad, I can tell her "no" and she stops. It is pretty funny to see her confused about where I am, but it is also very nice to make sure she and my house are safe while I am not at home. The video quality is great! The audio is not so great. It seems to pick up the motor on the camera, so you hear a crackly/static sound the whole time it is on. I am fine with that because I am more interested in the video part.

The camera gives a good picture and seems well built
The camera gives a good picture and seems well built. In order to view this they say to download ApCam app. My Samsung tablet says this app is not compatible, go figure. But the main reason for returning it is I want to view this on my local lan and assign a port number and ip address along with a ddns service. I have a number of cameras set up this way and I can log into any computer and see my cameras. This camera is strictly for a phone or tablet not remote viewing from a pc. To me this is not a true ip cam, it's just using the internet to feed the app.
