Whiskey Diamonds

Can I first say, this product's packaging is BEAUTIFUL. I almost didn't want to open it! You can tell this company is very professional just by this first impression.Second, the whiskey diamonds are of exceptional quality and incredible design. Their shape is unique (unlike the generic and boring cube shape).Third, the functionality of the stones is perfect. They kept my drink cold, without diluting the flavor. (Also the diamonds were odorless and tasteless, which is a big plus). I don't think I'll ever be able to have another drink without these awesome things!I'm definitely buying more for my friends as Christmas presents. 5 Stars! Thank you!

These are excellent whisky stones. They stay cold a long time. They in no way water-down my Scotch. They are a bit bigger than I expected, but are smaller than your average cube of ice.They also look a bit like Dungeons & Dragon's dice. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing. I guess if you're offended by Dungeons and Dragons then maybe you'll want to find differently shaped whisky stones. But if you're like me, and completely indifferent to D&D, then it probably isn't even worth mentioning. If you're a complete D&D nerd, then you probably shouldn't buy these because of the potential embarrassment you would experience if you accidentally plopped a D20 in your friend's drink.

I am a gin man and I like to store in dry storage. The stones add a nice appearance to my drink and their cooling effect is some what limited but still quite good. They don't work near as good as ice but then again ice dilutes the drink so it's a bit of a trade off. I generally find myself adding 5 or 6 of the stones to my drink to keep it cold. I also really like to coax my drink so the time period may also play a factor in that. lastly they say the cool in a few hours best results from over night cooling

I have to admit that I bought this as I was pretty curious to see if they work. I happily realized that they do! They are not just useful but also pretty nice to look at, even more while in use. I tested them during this past weekend to chill my wine in a family reunion, and it did work and did not left any weird taste on my mouth or anything because of the stones. I also gave to my cousin a couple as a gift and he instantly use them in his scotch and same results. I would really recommend this product to everybody who is a fan of cold drinks.

Whiskey diamonds are an outdated technology. They don't cool your drink down. Just put your bottle in the refrigerator and save yourself the money.

I have had these for a few weeks now and they have been fantastic. Exactly what i was hoping for. Heavy and sturdy built,, and very easy to clean. Just soak them in warm soapy water for about a hour, dry and stick back in the freezer bag.If you are looking for some great whiskey stones that are going to last, and look good when you use them, I'd highly recommend these!

I don't get it, I thought these were supposed to make your drinks cold. I put the 9 stones with the pretty velvet bad in my freezer for a week before using them the first time. Even with all 9 stones in a tumbler glass they cannot make my drink COLD. They cool off the vodka a tad, but its not cold. They do not keep a drink cold either. If you start with cold vodka your drink warms up fast. So now you've used all 9 stones to slight chill your drink and you want to pour a second drink. What do you use? Yup, ice because these stones are pointless.If I had not already thrown the box away I would be returning these. The best use for these may be to regift to someone I don't like. Or a White Elephant gift at a party.

I am not sure if I am expecting too much from this product but, I placed 5 in a scotch glass and only poured enough liquid to barely cover them...waited several minutes only to find the contents hardly chilled...I was expecting "ice cold" without the meltdown. I was also concerned about the weight of the cubes and the fragility of the glass they were in...it did seem possible that catastrophic damage could occur, I was surprised that tongs didn't come with them and didn't think of it until after my purchase. I don't think they're useless, they just didn't live up to my expectations...for some they may be perfect....if so I have a set for sale and only used once ha ha!!! J/K
