Good for home defense
As other reviewers have mentioned, finding a quality holster may cause a problem. It will fit in some floppy nylon holsters, but those would be for occasional use. The light installs easily, works good, easy to activate. Light is not blinding light, but is sufficient to outline your target. Remember this is for a mini pistol, not an M4 rifle. I added a 15 round magazine and use this as my emergency home gun. This Crimson Trace light satisfies my need for a home prowler light. Within those boundaries I am happy with purchase.

Great light
This is a great weapon light for the LCP II .380 and the price is right, too. Not as bright as a TLR6 but it will do the job in a dark room, take it to the bank. You can use the stock Ruger Pocket holster that ships with the gun with this light. You just need to remove the retention stitching in the middle of the holster that would hold it firm stock; and then add a few stitches to the edges of the holster to retain behind the triggerguard to pinch the holster together. See the photo I attached. Blue is the stitching that needs to be removed; red is the stitching that needs to be added. This light + HOLSTER combo works very well with the LCP II .380 and I would buy it again or recommend it to anyoneAs an aside....I also signed up to batteries for life on the crimson trace site. It 2 months to get them, but they did come. Nice deal there.

This is a fantastic light however…
This is a very nice light for your gun. I love how it fits the p365. The light is very bright and easy to install I do not feel like it is in the way of my trigger finger at all Install this is A 10/10 light For the right people. However I am returning the light not because of anything crimson trace has done It is simply because I carry my gun on a daily basis pretty much everywhere I go and in order to do that I need a good quality holster what the light being install it is very difficult to find the same quality holster that is designed for the gun and light the only holster I was able to find was a universal pocket holster which I am not comfortable with.

Fits perfect, lights a room well, holsters are a problem
It fits perfect and works well. I wanted just a light since I have had light/laser combos in the past and have found lasers to be nothing but a novelty on a small frame high recoil. This is fine. holsters are of course an issue as with most after you add a light or laser. But if you find something that works for you I'd say its a win. I signed up for free batteries for life since in the past I did not. Time will tell if it's a gimmick or true. But as for the light, IMO- buy it.

murderer of batteries
battery didn't last 2 weeks just sitting there not even in a holster or carrying... replaced batteries and they were gone again in 2 weeks, i don't get it. went with an edc hand flashlight which I use all the time since I don't have to pull my gun out to use it.

Great light for fifty bucks, molded holster info inside
I have the Romeo red dot and didn't want the distraction or redundancy of a laser. This fit the bill perfectly, especially at $50.Holsters are tough to find, but do a search for a gunners store in Tryon, NC. I won't put info directly because it might get the review pulled.

Excellent Light For The LCP II
This the perfect light for pocket carry. Installation is a breeze and the light output is good for the size. Only time will tell if I get the light turning on in a holster problem. I tend to pocket carry so I am not sure how this will effect that.

Great product, BUT, the button press is so easy, it drains the battery in a soft sided holster
This product works great! The only drawback I have, after having it for more than a year, is that I have to have a hard sided holster, like Sneaky Pete's, or the button press on the side pushes by accident in a soft sided holster, draining the battery.
