I have purchased these more than once. These are a must have for any painting job. They are especially useful along the top of the wall where the wall meets the ceiling. It makes it easy to touch up without getting paint on the white ceiling. The paint is supposed to last in the containers for seven years so you can come back and touch up any scratches that happen with the paint.

Solid product. Easy to use and delivers as promised. I was able to touch up my entire first floor in 20 minutes with no mess.

So much better than brush for touch up. You can put it away when done and then pull it out in seconds to paint the spot you missed. Of the two pens, one failed to retract for refill on the third use.

First Impressions & Context I picked up these Slobproof refillable touch-up pens for an unconventional use: filling them with my white and black gesso to paint directly onto my 3D prints. If you are tired of tube acrylics and cleaning paintbrushes every few minutes, this tool is an absolute revelation. It has completely changed my priming workflow, and I honestly doubt I will ever go back to traditional brushes for base coating. Performance & Real-World Testing In practice, the gesso flows through the brush tip incredibly smoothly, providing a perfectly consistent coat across the model without any mess. The best part is the lack of clean-up; when you are finished, you just pop the cap back on and put it away. On the very first use, the pen feels exceptionally premium, and you can hear a distinct clicking sound as you twist the ratchet mechanism to feed the paint. However, there is one quirk when it comes to refilling them. To reset the pen, you have to manually force the internal ratchet mechanism back down, which snaps the tiny hook responsible for making that clicking sound. It is a slight shame, but it only affects the noise—the actual mechanism still functions perfectly for refill after refill! The Bottom Line These pens are fantastic, reusable tools that save an immense amount of time on hobby projects. Despite losing the clicking sound after the first refill, the sheer convenience, smooth flow, and mess-free storage make them a must-have for anyone looking to streamline their model painting.
