Each New Day: 365 Reflections to Strengthen Your Faith

I will read anything written by Precious Corrie Ten Boom! This is a lovely addition

These devotions are short, but always full of life and faith and love of Jesus. They are great!

First let me say that I love Corrie Ten Boom and have several of her books; however "Each New Day" is a bit of a disappointment. The devotionals are very short. I really wanted/ needed more to feed my spirit. It's like wanting a a nourishing breakfast and getting a glass of skim milk. There is still goodness & wisdom to be found in it, I will just supplement "Each New Day" with another devotional during my morning Bible time.

I have had many devotional books over the years but this one is the one that I have actually been able to stick to reading on a more consistent basis. Even if I get behind a few days, it's easy to get caught up and I enjoy every single reading. Even though the reading for each day is not long, it is always powerful and insightful. Have given this book as a gift many times.

Wonderful book by Corrie ten Boom, easy to read daily

I dislike that there are so many versions of the Bible used in this book. Was going to use as a gift but after that I decided against it.

I guess I expected more words from Corrie for each day.

I love Corrie ten Boom! She is a remarkable woman. She and her family were persecuted for hiding Jews during WW2 and survived the holocaust. She survived Nazi Concentration Camps, and after her release, because of a clerical error, she traveled the world to tell others, that: “There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still.” I love reading her devotionals because she points to JESUS CHRIST and HIS finished work on the Cross! It helps me to keep my faith in Christ and the Cross, so that the Holy Spirit can work in my heart and life. 'This devotional makes a great gift! I have given several away and I also use this for my HomeSchool devotional!

It will refocus and calm your life down. Amazing woman. Amazing book. If you don't know about this amazing woman, do a google search. She is an amazing survivor who leads by example and without judgement.

use it every day

Very well wrote, gives a good account of what the family went through and their devotion to jesus, it's a worth while read fast delivery.
