Exactly What I Wanted
I bought this desk for my son's room. He needed a desk large enough for his desktop computer and gaming equipment. I knew I wanted an "L" shaped desk, but after shopping around extensively, I found that most "L" shaped desks have one side that is considerably longer than the other. I chose this desk because both sides are equal lengths. It worked perfectly in the space that we have! The desk was relatively easy to assemble, (I assembled it by myself, but I strongly recommend having a second person to help). The desk is very sturdy, and really looks good!!I would recommend this desk to anyone!!!

It was easy to assemble
This desk was just what I was looking for.I'm planning on expanding to a triple monitor setup (have dual 24"'s now on a stand), so this is just the right size to do that.I was concerned when I received the package, because it was torn up in 3 spots. It had visible holes right to the foam packaging.I almost sent it back immediately, but I felt inside and the wood didn't seem touched. So I opened it up,and there were a couple of blemishes in the edges of the wood. They were on the underside of the desk and on the backside. It wasn't from shipping,so I believe it wasn't packaged carefully. Now that I have it set up,I don't even know where they are.It was easy to assemble, everything fit just right. It is SOLID.Very solid.Solid steel and solid wood with a solid veneer as well.It could be a dust magnet, but no worries there. Also,it assembles with screws.None of the pre-installed grommet screws, but real screws.Solid bolts, actually.I'm very pleased for the price.

Solid Desk, but I Have my Gripes
I purchased this desk just about a month ago. The setup was easy-ish (more on this later), and everything you require for construction is provided in the box. In terms of how sturdy it is, I'd say I'm fairly impressed, especially because I consider this to be a cheap price to pay. I currently have a full sized PC tower, three monitors, a bunch of speakers, various desk junk and knick-knacks, and a small coffee table (the poor man's standing desk solution) sitting atop this piece right now. I'm sure this is below the advertised 110lb weight limit, but I do occasionally lean on it, and when I decide to sit, I throw my legs up on one of the ends from time to time - it remains steadfast. Regarding the mileage it gets, this is my main workstation that sees daily use and abuse, and it's definitely comfortable to sit at. The material feels nice, though I would be careful with sharp objects on the surface, as the main table body is wood covered in some sort of material that could be peeled off. The aesthetics of the piece are fantastic, I would definitely say this table looks incredible for the price paid.Despite the praise I'm giving this now, I do have a concern that should be addressed. I commended this desk for being affordable, but it appears the I money saved was pulled from their packaging. When the desk arrived, I noted that each table surface had a dent where the inner corner of the desk would be, in addition to another deep chip towards the back of the desk. If this were to be left unsanded, it could easily break skin if you run across it by accident. I mentioned earlier that the setup process was easy - which it was, however, I found one of the metal supports to be bent in such a way that would make fitting the desk together impossible. Since this could be easily erected with some pliers and force, I don't consider this to be that big of a deal. Bending the metal back was not perfect, and it did end up leaving scratches in the painted finish of the supports. Also not that big of a deal, since that damage isn't really within direct sight, anyway. Two minor things I want to mention: The thin metal bars that are connected to the main supports appear awkwardly flimsy (though, after the use this desk has seen, I observe no bowing or flexing of the metal. Functionality looks unaffected; this is purely an aesthetic gripe), and the spot dedicated to holding a CPU tower (right under the corner portion of the desk) is not long enough to hold a full sized tower. Despite this, the feature is not lost on me, I use this instead for my subwoofers.TL;DRPros:Built quality looks and feels overall good.Easy to set up, lightweight design.Aesthetically pleasing.Low cost.Cons:Packaging. That dinky-thin cardboard box and laughably-limp foam wrap won't save anything from FedEx's wrath. In conclusion, had this desk arrived without damages, it would have been perfect for my needs.Edit: After having owned this desk for five months (this review was originally written after the first month of ownership), there are a couple of other things I'd like to point out. I'm not a tall guy. I stand at about 5'8". I've noticed more frequently than before when scooting my chair in closer to the desk, my knees tend to hit the support bars in the back. This was not an issue I initially encountered because I had originally set this up with a second table on top to stand while I work. While I don't want to remove a star for this, I'd say I'm just slightly less-likely to recommend it. The last thing I've noticed where some improvement can be made - the wood is covered in a kind of finish that reminds me of plastic shrink wrap. This isn't really a problem, as it keeps the aesthetics nice and the price low, however, it should be noted that introducing heat to the surface (like a hot plate or cup of coffee) can warp the material a little. I've caught myself leaving hot things on the desk a few times and I've removed the object within a few minutes. After a little while, the material will put itself back in place. I cannot say how this will stand after extended exposure. Despite these points, the table still remains strong. I keep more things than I should on it (full tower computer, two monitors, a table, a TV, and a bunch of miscellaneous computer parts and junk) and I see no visible signs of stress or strain.

GREAT DESK FOR THE PRICE!!!!
The desk was literally overnighted to me eventhough i had 2 day shipping!! So thats a huge plus from Amazon! Now on to the desk...For the price you most certainly cant beat it! You get what you pay for! There were some minor issues when assembling this desk. For starters I think i should have built it opposite than what the instructions had shown as there are screws that they show to go in at the last part and unless you have a tiny hand with a tiny screwdriver good luck getting them in! I had to unscrew and moove the support rails to get them in! Also when assembling this thing dont completely tighten down everything too tight, leave some play as I had trouble lining up screw holes to the wooden top so i had to loosen up peices of the frame reposition some parts and then screw the frame to the top! After retightening everything all was good! Very sturdy and a great size for the price! Would reccomend!!

My favorite desk of all time.
It's so hard to find an L desk that doesn't have glass. I don't like how glass looks, how dirty it gets, or really anything about it, so I was thrilled to find this desk years ago. I've had mine since 2017 and have never had any issues. When my husband recently started working from home again and needed a new desk that would fit both his work computer and personal computer, I ordered a second one of these! Easy assembly and works/looks great. One note is that the pieces that are supposed to go into the bottom of the wooden section that sits on the floor to keep it from scratching... don't go in? There are no premade slots to fit them in the bottom, and all the motivation in the world couldn't help me get them to go in. Maybe someone stronger than me could get them through the wood, I don't know, but for both desks I've just found work arounds to keep from scratching the floor (like putting fabric underneath that part.) I let it slide because of how much I love the desk otherwise.
