Speedball002907 Calligraphy Fountain Pen Gift Set, Black

I collect vintage fountain pens and wanted a calligraphy pen for every-day projects. For the price they are excellent. So far the ink has flowed without stopping, making for smooth pretty strokes. I really like the view window on the side of the pen so you can gage when you're about to run out of ink. I have enjoyed using these pens and plan to order more as gifts.

Color is exactly as like the photos. Beautiful color. Flows well. Definitely will be buying other Pelikan fountain ink colors in the future.I like to mix various ink colors. Some inks mix better than others. So far, this "T foundation pen Pelikan ink has mixed well with every other ink I've experimented with. A great ink!The only suggestion I have would be a set of smaller sized inks with different colors.Thanks for the great ink!

If writing on a single sheet of regular paper on hard surface it's not as smooth writing but still does it well. I like using sketch paper and they don't leak and even when the cartridge is empty you still have about 10-15 minutes of solid writing time before it completely empties from the nib.

Does not write in ink but makes sure your fingers are covered in it.

Poorly made; cartridges leak and ink flows in the wrong direction.
