Gold's Gym XRS 20 Olympic Workout Bench with Removable Preacher Pad

#1 Took a very long time to receive. I was notified that it was finally shipped and delivered via email, however when I tracked the package via the UPS tracking number, it was delivered to an address in San Francisco CA. I had to call Amazon customer support, UPS, all who told me the tracking number wasn’t even my name or address (I live in St Louis, MO). There was no phone number to contact the seller, so I messaged them thru Amazon. Three days later the seller did respond saying that my package was on its way with a new tracking number from a different carrier. Very odd, but at least I got it...BUT THEN...#2 False advertising. I bought this because the pictures show i can do hamstring curls. After I assembled it, I was confused as to how hamstring curls were possible because parts were missing. I reread the instruction manual and see at the very bottom in fine print that not all exercises are possible depending on model number purchased. Uh...that would have been a need to know in the Amazon product description.#3 It feels like it would be super sturdy, but it’s very wobbly, despite double checking my assembly skills and tightening things up.***Note to future buyers: just spend the extra $50-70 and purchase a piece like this from a local exercise equipment retailer.

Truly built for serious working out. Not for the 1% of the 1% super athletes but the common workout-a-holic it's great. VERY sturdy. My long legs could use adjustable length leg components so the pads ride lower toward the ankles but it works for me. Just have to put on an extra plate. Use a metric socket set to assemble so you can do it quicker than wrenches. No "give" or "rocking" in the structure when lifting because the gauge steel and hardware is like the frame of a car.

Works great for it's purpose but the only issue is that every time I move the bench the rubber caps that protect the floor keep falling off and could potentially scratch my new floor. I have an idea of how the fix this issue, I will have to get some small stainless screws and drill some pilot holes in the sides of the caps and screw them in place. This is the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars.Update the small screws worked great. The caps no longer fall off!

I bought this item thinking it was the Golds Gym brand as that’s what it was advertised as. However, as pictured, I received a Weider product. You will definitely need two people to put this machine together and a wrench set. The only downside I’ve witnessed so far, is the little caps that cover rounded black cushions (areas where your thighs and legs rest at) pop out often.

I needed a good universal machine (legs, preacher curl) for my garage gym and this piece of equipment fit my needs. It was easy to assemble and it's reasonably sturdy for my needs. If anyone is setting up a home gym this is definitely a piece of equipment I highly recommend.

It’s a nice bench , the reason it got 4 stars is it’s difficult to do sit-ups

Leg attachment is good. Preacher curl good but too tall imo for bench work. Im 6' and struggle to stay flat footed since the bench sots so high. Top of bench sits at 20 3/4" compared to the 16 my other bench sits at. 6'4" and you may be golden. Wasnt golds either it was weider
