Fit my Kindle B003, it turned on immediately
Just installed the battery. It was a perfect fit for my Kindle B003, and had about 80% charge on it, so that the Kindle turned on immediately. We'll see how well it holds the charge, but so far this it's good.

Was skeptical but it works even though it is weaker than OEM.
This battery has the same physical configuration as the original batteries for the KIndle Dx. It was quite disappointing to not be able to find the original batteries on Amazon, but I finally found this one. (Amazon product searches have become more cluttered and more difficult over the years so that one has to wade through a lot of garbage to find what they are looking for.) It is only 1100 mAh instead of the 1500 mAh for the original but it is holding charges and does power the device.

Shipped a cheaper, less powerful battery than I paid for.
Desciption, specificarions and all photos show this as a 1530mAh battery, like the one that came in the Kindle, but they shipped a 1100mAh battery. I sent feedback, including the pic, to the seller and they refunded the purchase price immediately. It appeared to the seller it was a mistake when the item was pulled from the warehouse. This response rates an upgrade to 3 stars. If the battery life with 1100mAh battery is a problem I will still have to purchase another one with the correct specs.

EXACT, original Kindle battery
Exact replacement battery from the same company as the battery that came with the Kindle originally. Completely charged in about 15 minutes and works perfectly.
