I installed these on a Metro wire shelving unit . They fit perfectly so they were easy to install. I probably have 100 lbs total loaded on the shelving so these casters are over-designed for my application. However, I have tried the smaller, screw-in plastic casters and they just didn't go the job. These casters are heavy duty and that's what I wanted. They're worth the money.

I purchased these casters to replace some 20+ years old wheels on my Metro shelving. They were easy to install and seem very good quality, and substantially less expensive than Metro brand wheels.

Wheels fit as described

These casters worked great with my Metro shelves at a fraction of the price of genuine Metro casters. Build quality is solid and utilitarian. There may be rougher edges than Metro, and there isn’t a guard at the top. But, the casters are a fantastic value at this price.

Bought to replace ancient wheels on a roll around wire cart. Easy to install and theses are sturdy and work well. Recommended.
